No one I’ve spoken with who knows DeSantis and supported him for Governor thinks he is going to run against Trump. None of his allies and donors I know want him to run against Trump. If DeSantis were going to run, someone in my network would know, and everyone says he’s focused on two things: Seeing his wife Casey through her cancer treatment and getting reelected in 2022.

The latest Trump – DeSantis rift story comes from Axios, the Left-leaning website that carries a lot of water for DC-based establishment Democrat and Republican operatives and politicians, and there are two classes of beneficiaries from stirring the pot to create a rift between Trump and DeSantis.

I want him to run. He’s as close to a guarantee win as we are ever going to get. Going with Trump is playing with fire. The stakes are too high to not go with our best shot.

Lots of supposed Trump voters around here are now all of a sudden slurping up anonymous sources from the New York Times and other left wing rags

They don't want Trump to run for what is rightfully his in 2024 because they are so afraid of their neighbors and country club friends judging them.

I know it's fun to discuss on a poli board, but I don't really pay attention to presidential elections 3 years out. There is never a general election that features two candidates who were the favorites 3 years earlier.
Lots of things happen.

I'm more interested in the coming Congressional election.

This seems naive.

In three years Trump will be three years older.

It is.

I like DeSantis a lot, but Rich Baris is the Florida polling expert and has said that DeSantis has not proven he can turn out massive swaths of blue collar and hispanic voters like Trump has/did.

Baris said there is no hispanic shift toward Republicans, instead its a hispanic shift toward Trump. And that a lot of working class voters are the same way - they hate Republicans, but love Trump.

This needs to change if we are to win.

Trump is not the only non Rino out there.

Me too. My point had nothing at all do do with my personal thoughts of him.

Polling data is more useless now than it has ever been.

Since big media has no credibility, I dismissed it early on.

Maybe, maybe not. Nov 2020 was the greatest voter turnout in history. Trump broke the computers and caused the entire election to shut down for hours while the Filth chased more votes.

I am not sure DeSantis could garner any more support than what we saw in 2020.

Assuming the election is real, either one would win in a landslide, but after what I witnessed in 2020, nothing matters if the filth can get away with what they did then.

If Trump doesn’t run, the media and deepstate will have won the fight we have been fighting. They want DeSantis instead of Trump because of what Trump knows about them. They view DeSantis as the lesser of two evils. Because of that, we should die on the hill by Trump. DeSantis can run in 2028. We are where we are because of that Orange bastard. The media trying to put them against each other is all you need to know about who we should support first. They hope we fall for their bullshite.

It's pretty pathetic honestly. Everyone here hates the media until they say something they agree with even if its obvious bs. Then they eat it up

Bull shite. DeSantis has been the Covid Contrarian, and a railroad spike in the sides of Prog Commies, and they know, and judging from the anti-DeSantis crap coming from Trump Loyalists, he's a huge threat.
