Trump has not only been put to the test but he has bene put through the ringer by the establishment and it's endless lawfare.

If you want to lose any hope of a 2028 presidential win, DeSantis, keep it up!

Is he going to debate in the general election?

Do we as voters deserve answers for how he handled Fauci, his appointments of Bill Barr and Christopher Wray, and how he is going to change things in this term?

This is accurate. He already has everyone he can get by going on stage to be embarrassed.

I'm less soft than you are desperate, just like DeSantis.

DeSantis is focusing on Trump but he really needs to focus on Vivek. He's fighting for the #2 spot LOL

Yeah its not about Trump.

Its about what the people deserve and what the people have to gain.

But Trump doesnt care about that.

Charlie Kirk said DeSantis refused to go to his thing.

Whatever thing that DeSantis is going to he is guaranteed to not get booed.

At Kirk's event you can't bullshite with establishment talking points.

The only reason he is goading Trump to the Fox debate is Paul Ryan and gang have an ambush set up. And they will deal softballs to all but Trump.

If Trump is a no show they all have to actually debate and challenge each other with bullshite establishment canned talking points. They have to discuss geo politics.

Why are people having such a difficult time understanding this?

Is it Make America Great Again or Make Trump Great Again?

But why? Shouldn't he and his campaign be going HAM on trying to attract new and lost voters that costed him 2020? Independents, moderates, Hispanics, women, etc?

And why is it only about what "Trump has to gain?"

This whole mindset that it's all about what the candidate has to gain instead of the voter is what's wrong with our entire political system. Trump the man is not OWED anything from anyone, he OWES US. He is vying to be our hired employee as the top public servant in the land, why do we owe him so much as to not even hear what he's promising us?

This is another sign that he knows they are in trouble. His paths to victory are getting down to a major shift in perception of this race. He and his team know that the debate opportunity being pulled from him makes it almost impossible.

I like Ron, but damn, this is a bad look…admitting he needs a Hail Mary, and only a face to face can turn the tide. I have to say Trump must be laughing after hearing that…

That's just dumb, Adam.

What knowledge do you think "the people" will gain about Trump and his policies that they don't already know?

I don’t think he will. Despite his arrogance, there’s no upside.

Trump will debate. I promise you. Bookmark this thread. Let's see if DeSantis can even get past Vivek first.

DeSantis is crumbling and his donors are looking for elsewhere now, so DeSantis has no choice but to attach himself to a Trump debate before the primaries have even begun.

DeSantis is getting desperate. What he should be doing is focus on decimating his actual rivals like Vivek and Tim Scott. Once he does that he can stand there and say "Is there anyone else?!". But he can't do that. He sees his rivals quickly gaining ground on him.

Every debate or Town hall Trumo has been involved in has been an unfair attack from Meghan Kelly, to Mike Wallace, to the most recent Town Hall. Let’s not pretend he’s walking away from an honest debate.

I have always been a Trump supporter and was an ardent defender of his until recently, but I will be extremely soured by him if he cowers from the debates. I just can't bring myself to support a candidate that thinks he is owed the nomination and doesn't have to answer to the people voting for him.

I need to know what he plans on doing differently from his first term, what he learned and will change, what his detailed plans are this time to combat the corruption in the letter agencies, how he intends to combat wokeism and indoctrination in our education system, etc.

The fact that so many of you are okay with him just being owed the nomination and your vote is fricking weak leftist-style thinking

If you repeat the same thing over and over again do you think it’ll come true?

Perception in the minds of every GOP primary voter will quickly become reality.

Viewership will be very low. And Trump will post something about him watching the debate to find a VP candidate and that will be viewed in Social Media by 100x the people.
