You can thank President Trump. Florida was about to elect a black radical democrat.

It might have been the most important move Trump made in his Presidency.

“I think as these bills were going through various legislatures, I remember the NCAA put out a statement saying any state that enacts this, we’re not going to hold events there,” DeSantis said. “And so I called the Speaker of the House in Florida and I said, ‘did you hear what they said?’ And he’s like, ‘yeah,’ I said, we definitely got to get this done.”

“You can’t be cowed by these organizations, or particularly by woke corporations from doing the right thing. And so my view was throughout this whole time, we have to protect our girls, it is discriminatory to force them to compete against biological males,” DeSantis continued. “And so if the price of having a tournament is that I have to deny equal opportunity to hundreds of thousands of young girl and women athletes throughout Florida, I am much more willing to stand with the girls. And to hell with these events.”

Actually I'm hoping for Augustus with a little hint of Pinochet mixed in.

We need an authoritarian to shut down the batshit crazy globalist left that wants to destroy western civilization and we need someone that is smart and effective enough to do that.

This is a Man. Stand for what is right and not be cowered by threats from the Woke and Dumb Culture.

All Noem had to do was say the same thing. Instead, she bowed down to the NCAA for the chance to have a regional in Sioux Falls.

Probably crying in her pillow tonight.

After the election debacle with the capitulating republicans cowering like kicked dogs, I had decided to vote third party for the first time since 1988. I will vote for Trump, Cruz, or DeSantis if they get the nomination. I don’t know of single other possible candidate worthy of a vote.

I do think we’ll have to worry about an establishment VP pick from all three though. Never works well.

I hope his protection detail is world class because we’re not the only ones that know he is a game changer, and 2020 showed us that the Left had no bounds/morals.

First and biggest rule of VP Selection is do no harm to the Presidential nominee. That means do not select someone that would overshadow and upstage the President or is too batshit crazy for undecided voters to trust being a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Sarah Palin was the biggest violation of this rule.

After that, select a VP that gives you the best and most electoral value that will bring home a bloc of voters that could make the difference in a close race. Mike Pence filled that role bringing in enough rank and file GOP votes in the suburbs.

Apparently. Sometimes you have to pull your nuts out to let the other guy admire the size of them. The state of Florida hosts 8 bowl games. Bowl games are struggling as it is, but many people go to the ones in Florida due to the weather and other attractions there. The NCAA and bowl sponsors would eat it if they tried to move all of those bowls and other Florida championship sporting events, etc.

i know you know bowl games aren't official NCAA events, so they wouldn't be affected by this

Does the NCAA have anything to do with bowls? Aren’t they technically exhibitions? I know the NCAA has nothing to do with the faux-playoffs.

And you'll see how well that will work out for democrats in 2024 if she's the Presidential nominee.

She's the black version of the loathsome and vile Hillary Clinton and democrats know it.

Heels Up Harris couldn’t get 1% of the vote in the socialist democrat primary. Palin is the ONLY reason I voted for Songbird McCain.

And then proceeded to bend over and take it in the arse from democrats who had just defrauded the American people.

Already addressed that above.

The Vice Presidency is nothing more than a figurehead position with no power at all. Aside from breaking senate tie votes, it's a purely ceremonial role with no teeth to it and thus he had no power to overturn an election.

Pretending otherwise shows an ignorance of our how our federal government and the constitutional process works.

This should've been explained to Donald Trump. Repeatedly.

We can start our own thread here, but it is useless. The fact that you use hyperbole in your argument says all anyone needs to know. It is absolutely within the purview of the VP to certify, or refuse to certify, elections if they are conducted fraudulently. This is not “overturning an election” and anyone with an IQ higher than room temperature knows this.

Follow me through this. Just a thought. Not married to it.

China is CCP. Chinese communist party. All day. You don’t want to piss these guys off if you have to live under them.

So. We buy a lot of shite from China. We sell some shite to China I guess. State secrets mostly I think.

Anyway. Labor is expensive as hell. That’s why you can buy anything from China for cheap. Zero labor laws. Zero emissions & environmental restrictions.

Well. Let’s say I buy doodads from China. CCP sees that Chinese guy is doing well. Selling a lot of doodads. Way too many doodads. Well. They could tax the frick out of him. Or seize his business. Or use him as a political pawn. Hey doodad man. Maybe tell your customer you aren’t comfortable selling items to a guy with x political stance.

Well he’s gonna get very worried. And he’s not gonna tell anybody bc he doesn’t want to give up a trade secret or let you know he’s not a good ole boy American to his soul and is farming all his shite out to China.

So he bends the knee.

Now. What is the end result of all this. Well for one you effectively kill American manufacturing bc you are undercutting their processes by free labor and work practices. Eventually they can’t produce shite bc they aren’t set up for it anymore and they’ve been out of the game so long it doesn’t matter.

So now what? Do you invade?

You don’t have to. They have guns. A nuke would render the land useless for decades and they have those too. You have bought stupid or dirty politicians to work your plan. The enemy produces nothing. They only trade. Mostly your stuff. Buying positions to enact policies that are detrimental serves two facets.

1)it divides the people
2) it distracts

If a politician espouses most of your views publicly and undercuts you on a cancer you aren’t even thinking of you don’t care.

They don’t have to conquer the world. They are buying it.

Trump was dangerous because he doesn’t care. He doesn’t need to be bought. Couple this with the fact that he’s a sin exposer and he got to go.

We have farmed so many of our sins out for so long we can’t stomach to look at them. We largely live in a fake unrealistic world.

America is bought.

Bump it against your thought modules. Tell me where I’m wrong. I am water. I’m ready to rethink this.

There’s right and there’s wrong. I for one don’t want the NCAA’s dirty arse money if they’re going to come into my city, or state for that matter, and dictate to us what kind of fricking laws we are and are not allowed to have.

Money or not, you have to stand for something. Yes, it might cost you money; yes, it might cost you friends. It does not matter. You cannot give in with these pieces of shite.

Same goes for the MLB, NFL, NBA, PGA, whatever. If you want to come to my city to have an event but I have to change my laws to fit your delicate sensibilities, then frick ya. We don’t need your money that bad.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, but lose his soul?
