Because no one can predict campaign specifics in 2028. You are going by perceived election cycles. It's not unheard of that GOP candidates get elected twice in a row.

1868-1884 GOP held office by 4 GOP presidents.
1896-1908 GOP held office by 3 GOP presidents.
1920-1928 GOP held office by 3 GOP presidents.
1980-1992 GOP held office by 2 GOP presidents.

The point is Trump winning then DeSantis winning would not be unprecedented and goes against your election cycle theory.

Right. Your needless attacks on Desantis, now you're going to have to figure out how to "undo" what you did. This is what happens when become a cheerleader.

I guess you're on the fence between him and Crist? How are you going to vote if Trump decides not to run? Gonna still post articles about Desantis being another RINO despite his record?

Because state houses and Governorships are turning red and things will get done.

Court rulings are happening that will force the states to adapt.

Right now, even suburban women are wanting Trump back.

If Trump wins in 2024 get ready for a severe blowback that will benefit the Democrats. It also gives them time to find a good candidate because Newsome is terrible and his record as Governor speaks for itself. Four more years of Trump will give them an excellent chance to to recapture their gains and not even DeSantis could overcome these headwind

If Trump really cares about this country he would bow out and endorse DeSantis.

This thread embodies everything Bill O’Rielly said yesterday. Some people hate Trump so much, they will vote for their own detriment rather than vote for Trump.

I guarantee you that DeSantis' chances to win in 2028 are greatly diminished if he doesn't run now.

You seemingly cannot grasp this.

They literally, announced last night they will steal the upcoming elections. What do you think they will do when OMB runs again?

They don't give a frick about the law. Why should they? The DOJ will never prosecute them.

Can you give me an explanation of what you think Trump should/could have done to prevent states from breaking the law by illegally changing voting laws, making up millions of "mail in ballots," and all the other shenanigans that went on? Particularly when courts refused to rule or didn't rule on lawsuits until after the election was over? Should he have declared martial law? Sent the military in to take over Philly polling stations?

That’s not my job. It’s his job to figure out what to do.

Wrong, that was the Gov and States Legislatures job!

Trump even warned them!

You can hate Trump all you want. But comments like this show you have no idea who controls elections. It's ignorance.

Again, you have no suggestions or idea on what he COULD have done.

Outside of Georgia borderline helping things what other states in question have enacted significant measures?

Wisconsin banned drop boxes.

Arizona tightened up ballot signature requirements and reduced "ballot curing" times. They also changed how they send out absentee ballots.

The Michigan legislature passed at least 4 voting bills that I know of to tighten up the chance of fraud, but of course Whitemer vetoed them all. Not sure if they've made any headway since then.

Similar story in Pennsylvania.

I never said it would be unprecedented. I clearly said the last time it happened was in 1988.

Your one somewhat modern example includes Reagan and a dude who lost reelection to one of the worst Presidents we've ever had.

Not looking good for your point.

Trump's highly antagonistic tenure was on all issues and amazing success, both National and International. Economic and non-war. Top to bottom unequaled even compared to Reagan. That is why the Dem Left Deep State went all in corrupt to take him out.

Rational people hoping to keep their affluence and freedoms easily see this. Those with TDS are blind to it.

SF is right about the election cheating. The Dems MUST get all the illegal immigrants on the voter rolls, and any attempts by the 'red wave' Republicans to clamp down as the inflation/interest rates/budget deficit/national insolvency/supply chain implosion/et al will be used against them (Republicans/Trump Nation).

Jesus Christ can't fix this mess. It's a hard landing.

Aside, listening to Bannon on "War Room"; he's hands down the smartest and most eloquent guy out there.
