DeSantis: Republicans Need To Engage In "Corrupt As Hell" Voting Practices

For all the betas on here who think Republicans can't another election.
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was Caught On Tape arguing that Republicans should engage in “corrupt as hell” voting practices until they can be banned.
In an interview that was recorded on Thursday, podcast host Charlie Kirk asked DeSantis about so-called ballot harvesting and “Zuckerbucks,” a right-wing phrase meaning private donations that help run elections.”
“I think Zuckerbucks is corrupt as hell, but if it’s legal and the Democrats are doing it, why aren’t we doing it?” he asked. “I would say ban ballot harvesting and do all that. But if it’s not banned, you need to do it because, otherwise, we’re fighting with one hand tied behind our back.”

If it’s legal practices as he mentions further down, maybe “corrupt as hell” wasn’t the ideal phraseology to use.

A thing can be legal and still "corrupt" as it pertains to elections, voting, etc... and in this case, it is.

I agree. But the problem is the rigged game the Dims have created specifically benefits Dims, even if Reps start doing the same stuff.
Also, the justice department will go after conservatives and Republicans for the same things with extreme prejudice.
Ultimately if this stuff is continued to be left unchecked, it is going to end in either a bloody civil war or subjugation.

Sure, something can be corrupt and legal at the same time. No disagreement there. I mean not ideal perception-wise and unintentionally producing ammo available for use by his foes.

we cannot do that without the 75 years of base support in the high population urban areas with their tens of thousands of 'public servants' in charge of every aspect of voter registration, election preparation, election execution, election supervision and control, and ballot counting, as well as all the related support functions required to support an election from the postal service to highway maintenance.

Only difference is the democrats would organize and overturn an election.
