Trump banned bump stocks. At times he was a peckerhead. He didn’t drain the swamp like he promised.

However, he set up the Supreme Court that saved America as we know it. Plus Trump being President makes the crazy commie nut jobs scream at the sky. Good enough in my book to vote for him again.

I like how he thinks Moore vs Harper is about federalized elections....

And how the SCOTUS taking the case means elections are federalized...

Trump vs Democrat Nominee will be a harder battle than DeSantis vs Dem Nominee. With that said, whomever is elected will have to make some tough unpopular decisions to get this country back on track. Whomever comes after will reap the rewards of those tough decisions.

No one is going to drain the swamp. That job is going to take a generation of America First type candidates to even put a dent in it.

The swamp is too rooted and too massive in DC for any POTUS to 'drain', especially in two terms.

A few of his family members have joined the swamp. And you know they would be involved in a second admin.

he also incentivized more outsourcing after campaigning on bringing jobs back to the US.

“No new wars” is such a low bar but good job there. He did increase drone strikes by a fair margin.

Did he put members of SCOTUS on the court that any other whitebread conservative wouldn’t? Maybe, maybe not. I don’t think so. He can’t be praised too much for just happening to catch a break and getting to nominate 3 judges, but he said he would do it and got it done so props.

The Republican nominee whether its DeSantis or Trump will be a MAGA candidate. No one wants a return of the Bush/McCain/Romney wing.

And that's a bad thing? Did you see what Stephen Paddock did in Vegas with semiautomatics enhanced with bump stocks? That made Charles Whitman's 1966 Texas massacre look like child play.

“Moore vs Harper concerns independent state election doctrine”

Doesn’t mean elections are federalized (which I didn’t claim anyway), it means that they aren’t 100% able to do whatever they want with 0 federal oversight.

There’s no law saying he couldn’t have sent DOJ officials to just oversee and take notes during the election process. Or even that he couldn’t test machines. You won’t find a law saying that anywhere and he didn’t do it. You’re completely wrong about this (unsurprising to anyone with more than a 50IQ)

That is the conventional wisdom. Or at least it should be. However the same people who are never Trumper‘s will also likely stab DeSantis in the back too. The establishment Republicans are hell-bent on nominating a Mike Pence, Nikki Haley variety of Republican candidate.

So while it may seem like a reasonable compromise to go for DeSantis - looking at the fact he has two terms and instead of Trump’s one , I’m inclined to go that way. However if the establishment isn’t going to settle , what does it matter? Might as well have Trump.

I am really torn. Looking back everything Trump promoted or did was spot on. All the lies about Russia and collusion have come out or will come out. I even think he did win the election. But… DeSantis does have a very strong record as governor and he’s a good bit younger too.

I think the negatives for Trump are that he’s in his upper 70s, has the entire establishment against him, and is prone to make appointment mistakes for his inner circle . I don’t know who he can trust in Washington. At least DeSantis would come in with a better view of the landscape.

Give it up jj. It’s time to dump trump.

He couldn’t protect the patriots from fraud we shouldn’t give him a job particularly after freeloading security detail while unemployed
