Yes.
There is a huge gap between issuing questionable rulings on things like evidence/testimony, jury instructions, etc. (areas where trial court decisions have lots of weight) and removing a juror for political bias, after the close of evidence.

Question for the attorneys. Does all of this make an appeal much easier? I presume they do not care if it's appealed though as long as the news can say, GUILTY.
