Denmark passes law banning burqa and niqab

Good. How do you identify a person that you can't even see? If someone commits a crime, there's nothing to identify them with. You can't even assume a gender.

I feel like it is a fairly logical assumption that a society might not be able to function as intended if it allows people to cover up and be unidentifiable in any and all public interactions.
I could be wrong. I could be right. I do not know how this has or will affect Denmark.
I can without a doubt say from a simple, clear logical standpoint it would make sense to not allow this. VERY clear sense. The type that is SO clear you might struggle to see it at fisrt.

I don't really care, but someone thought it as necessary to start a thread on it so I replied asking if there was a legitimate reason why the law was passed.

But yeah, I think that's part of the point. If you see someone walking around in a ski mask, you're automatically suspicious as to why they are covering their face in public.

Doubt they’d go. Had a Muslim barista in Copenhagen just this week. She was delightful and seemed to be very content in Denmark.
