There's nothing moral about conservatives. 80% of evangelicals supported Roy Moore according to numerous sources. The majority of whites supported Roy Moore. Jones barely won despite running against a pedophile. That doesn't scream moral to me.

Like I said in the OP. Debate how close the vote was all you want. A state that is a 100% lost cause for democrats under almost any circumstance just elected its opposition party over -allegations-. Not facts, but accusations.

That is worthy of praise to y'all, is it not? Is the job Alabama did not exceptional? Or is the hashtag #ThankyouAlabama not trending on twitter?

Massachusetts elected a Republican just 8 years ago and the Dem wasn't even a child molester, just a crappy candidate

Massachusetts also has a Republican governor with the highest approval rating of any governor in the country. There is a reason the OP asked about NY and California. He wanted the deepest of blue states.

Have you seen who California elects? They just made it no longer a felony to knowingly infect someone with HIV.

Fair enough, but the question was in reference to New York or California. Deepest red vs deepest blue state(s).

Maybe I'm wrong but I always thought Mass was one of the bluest states in the country, comparable with CA and NY. Is that wrong?

Martha Coakley might be the biggest loser in recent political history. Not only did she lose Ted Kennedy's Senate seat in 2010 to a Republican, which was stunning in uber-liberal Massachusetts, but then she ran for Governor in 2014 and lost to Charlie Baker, who isn't really even a Republican.

im not debating that, i never mentioned that, im wondering why youre taking credit for something you actively worked against, and doing so in a thread where you want credit for your morality?

No they wouldn't and nor should they. Morals have no place in modern American politics. I'd vote for literally Hitler over a democrat if he was going to help lower my taxes.

You are switching topics. I -never- said I was proud in particular. Perhaps I should have included quotation marks around the world "moral" in teh header. Regardless, this has nothing to do with my personal convictions. This is to see if y'all can be honest about California and New York, and admit that those states would never do what Alabama just did.

It's an exercise in intellectual honesty.

*edit*

As far as Massachusetts, I know nothing about their governor. So, I can't know if it's an apples to apples debate. Is the Republican elected a LEGIT republican? A RINO? An Arnold or Reagan type?

I was thinking about this last night (except mine was only California). And the answer imo would be the Republican would have 0% chance of ever winning in California.

It's the most radically insane state in the union.

Oh please. No Republican would win because Republican policies are pure dog sh*t and stuck in the past. They have had Republican governors however.

As for your second statement, California is one of the most sane states in the country. They believe in science, making lives better for all and not just the super rich, investing in green energy, controlling pollution, making the rich pay their share, and holding corporations accountable for their actions and their dodging of taxes. Sounds pretty sane to me.

It's backwards, racist states like Alabama that want to take us back to the 1800s.

Not sure and we have no way to know, thankfully. DNC corruption forced Hillary in, so I have my doubts. But just like there are moderate republicans, there are moderate democrats.

You would accept the murder of six million people if it would lower your taxes? Really?

Now you're taking credit for the people of your state (not you) who didn't vote fora child molester?

And a Democrat wouldn't get this far - they'd resign when credible accusations of the level of Moore's came out, and the party would mount a write-in campaign to beat the Republicans.

Intellectual honesty my arse. You're full of shite. Half the voting public voted for a pedophile. Don't talk to anyone about Alabama being moral. Jones barely won by the skin of his teeth, against a pedophile. That's not an endorsement of Alabama. It's an indictment.

California would have never allowed him to run in the first place.

Well I'd imagine my taxes would have to be raised to pay for 6 million murders so I think we'd be okay.

Please explain this logic. I'm excited to hear see the articles, quotes, etc. to back up this ridiculous, liberal garbage that you are saying. You're pathetic.
