After sharing how “petrified” and “mortified” he was heading into the midterms, Carville said that “if this country does not have a voter intervention,” then he was “not optimistic about its future.”
This is the guy that was lamenting the failed state of New Orleans last week, now wants complete fed (democrat) control of the voting process, so we can continue the Biden Slide into disaster?
Reminds me of the Irish Channel facebook group where folks complain about car break-ins and plants being stolen, then call people racist when they suggest not electing Latoya, J Williams, etc...

Big mistake.

Find it.
You need to "Find it". This is the exact exchange (I transcribed it myself):
Sharpton: "But if Republican's retake Congress, can we assume that effort will become impossible?"
Clyburn: "Well if we were to look at what the Supreme Court just did. The New York Law. Then you got to know that we are in for some very trying times if we do not intervene this November. You know I've been talking a lot these days about pendulum swings that take place in this country. Our country does not move on a linear plane. It has always gone from left to right; back right again; back left again. That's the way it's been.
"And what tends to check that is voter intervention. And if the voters intercede in November, I think we have got a real good chance of changing the direction of the country."
To summarize: You are wrong and your "research" was even more wrong. My guess was right. Time to admit it.

Carville is a showman, in the vein of P.T. Barnum and Ron Popeil. Don't get carried away.

There is nothing right until you fully admit that Clyburn, Sharpton, and the Carvilles of the political world are criminal in intent and practice.
and nothing else

The only reason he's the biggest piece of shite in Congress is because John Lewis is dead.

He and the prophet are much the same.

So are you just making up that “voter intervention” is a takeover of the government or did you actually see that anywhere?
I’m not clicking your link because I already know what site it’s from. But nothing in linked from Carville or Clyburn in your post matches your characterization of their use of “voter intervention.”

Ok nice attempt to change the subject in the most general way.
JJ posted a stupid thread with even more mind-numbing "research" that he admitted he did, that turned out to be 100% not relevant or applicable.
Admit he completely fricked this up.

All I really want to know is what did the reverend Al Sharpton have to say about abortion. I'm curious how he defends the religious and racist sides of the argument. I'm betting he goes the racist route...has worked for him for decades.
And Carville is a has been. His relevance has passed.

He found it on a completely unrelated article while "researching", instead of actually finding out what Clyburn said that Carville referenced.

Because this interpretation is only possible by those with mental handicaps or partisanship-rotted brains

quote:
Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), the majority whip, acknowledged that with the Senate filibuster intact, legislation designed to protect voting rights faces long odds. But when asked about alternative strategies for shoring up voter protections — including unilateral action by President Biden and the allocation of new election funding from Congress — Clyburn was terse.
quote:
“The executive order can do a lot, and if that’s what the president wants to use, I don’t oppose that,” Clyburn said. “In fact, I would propose it.”
You can defend the dems all you want ....
It doesn't make you right...
quote:
Clyburn had warned throughout the past year that it would be politically “catastrophic” for Democrats if they allowed the filibuster to sink efforts to adopt new voting rights protections. He had urged Biden to press Senate Democrats — particularly the centrist Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.) — to support a carve-out to the filibuster rule that would be narrowly targeted to voting rights legislation.

In most everything looked up by this guy on the election process, he is wanting a federal take over.

I'm not defending anyone.
I'm just posting what he actually said, which you either refused to do or were not intelligent enough to figure out how to do.

Cool.
That's specifically not what he said in this interview, so why is that unrelated information relevant at all?
We're talking about the words he actually said in the interview, that Carville referenced.

Brah that dude really is off as a poster. I don't know what it is but I discerned something just "off" with him. Can't put a finger on it though. It's almost like he's looking for validation or to fear.monger through his posts, but virtually all of his thread titles are misleading in varying degrees.

He's very emotional and has been manipulated by a group of elites who seek to use propaganda to create a polar political existence to create conflict in order to maintain power over the sheep/pawns.

A kid from my hometown got shot by a cop. People where protesting and calling for the cops head.
Al showed up to the funeral and I always wondered what went through his head when he looked in the casket and saw a white kid.
