Dems get out and vote for these better than us. Now they will have the independents voting with them too. We are doomed.

Trump and the Republicans had such a golden opportunity here to cement our party and the conservative mindset for the foreseeable future, with the Democrat party being largely listless and leaderless and at its weakest in a very long time; but they've completely blown the chance.

Even with Republicans completely screwing the pooch, there's no one person in the D party and no winning platform I can identify them with right now. Seriously what are they campaigning on other than "Trump Bad?"

They are on the wrong side of the 80-20 and 95-5 issues. What do they stand for? What do they plan to do differently? They sold their souls for "getting" and "stopping" Trump and forgot they needed platforms and promises of their own. They have none and nobody to clearly take the reins

I can't remember a time in history where the Democrat party was weaker, yet the Republican party insists on making it easy for them

I have no idea what this is supposed to mean in response to Trump and Republican Congress completely ruining their opportunity to put the Dem party down for decades

I recall that he was elected as a populist, with an agenda to serve as the president for all Americans. We know now he's a fringe right extremist and worst of all, a warmonger.

People like Thune, Cassidy, Cornyn and so many others who are trying to save the party are now conveniently scapegoated.

So you're saying the failure of DOGE and cutting government spending, the failure of the SAVE act and removing the filibuster, the constant undercutting of Trump by the speaker and Republican Congress, and this failure of the Iran excursion are just "leftist propaganda"?

I don't pay attention to a single leftist news source and even I can see that things aren't exactly going to plan as to what we voted for

You must not have paid attention to what DOGE actually was either

I did, and Congress failed to actually enact their findings. Which is literally the point I'm making right now that Republicans/Trump had a mandate and a golden opportunity that they've completely blown.

I honestly don't know how you can possibly disagree. You're taking the opinion that Congress and Trump have just been killing it and have really used this opportunity to bury the Democrats once and for all? They're really doing the best to their ability and powers granted?

Your problem is you can’t separate anything. You’re conveniently throwing everything into one pot to create a narrative. Two things, the Dems are running far behind the last 2 cycles so this idea that all is lost is dumb.. 2 what I told you is where voters are bleeding from, not the contrivances you mentioned.

This statement is hilariously absurd.

Thanks for the good chuckle.
