its certainly not ideal, but calling it "clear evidence of Steeles bias" is actually clear evidence of bias. it doesnt mean the things he wrote about were false. you can be biased and honest at the same time. i dont like trump but im not gonna say he rapes children.

Maybe...

Trump didn't really play any active role in Russia's efforts in that regard
That's what they're trying to establish. Or at least what role he may have played in obscuring others' activities.

For the people saying biases don't matter, of course they do
Most cops, prosecutors, and probably even judges tend to have a low opinion of the kind of people who find their way into the system. So should we stop policing? Trying perps?

Of course not. I'm not saying we fire Mueller. Let him finish. He needs to hurry up though.

But the truth is the investigation is going nowhere and every honest Democrat knows it. Some grand collusion with Russia doesn't even fit Trump's profile. You know it, I know it.

The bombshells are "you're on my team, right" and Hope Hicks maybe, possibly, saying something that could indicate obstruction when obstruction didn't actually happen.

The truth is that Russia sought to undermine our institutions. They wanted Trumpkins to decide the media was the enemy. They probably fed Steele ridiculous info that would be used against Trump associates. They wanted Americans to turn against our IC.

The additional truth is that they succeeded, and what's more, they didn't have to work too hard at it because all of it is, to some extent, true. The IC is a monstrous, liberty-sacrificing entity that prioritizes the institutional status quo and is scared of someone like Trump. Our media is incredibly slanted toward one ideological category.

This is some weird rationalization.

It's apparently a tad more than bias. It appears more like #resist to me. Can I investigate you fairly when I would do anything to keep you from being President?

That's a tough question in this current climate.

Another distinction is that cops are biased against criminals.

This particular bias isn't about politicians. It's specific to Trump. That's a huge difference.

How many countries did Hillary collude with via the Clinton Foundation money? Why was she not a threat to be used by a foreign country?

I can't believe anyone can look at this I think it is acceptable or excusable in any way, shape, or form.

The DNC (not some rogue group) paid for false information on a political rival and then major elements of a DNC-led FBI and DOJ knowingly and intentional used that false information to (1) spy on an American citizen and (2) justify an investigation into that political rival.

Can anyone defend or excuse the above?

I've been asking the same question. You won't get a response. Posters like a want and crew see nothing wrong with what occurred. Nothing at all. Why? Because it was against Trump and Republicans.

Everything is justified when it comes to smearing your political opponent.

The ends always, ALWAYS justify the means.

There was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government - at least not based on any evidence that has been verified, beyond early leaks subsequently proven to be false.

Did Trump try to win the election? Certainly.

Did/does Russia try to influence our elections? Absolutely. Every time.

Did they coordinate? Nope.

You guys on the left can't possibly believe that Putin prefers a tough talking, "America first" populist to a irredeemably corrupt, easily buyable political opportunist, now do you?

Really?

The wife of a high-ranking member of the AG's office was hired by an outfit contracted with the Hillary campaign and DNC for the sole purpose of compiling oppo research on Trump, then fed information they paid for to her husband to instigate the investigation of Trump.

That is so unacceptable.

You and milkshake are clueless. McCabe said there would’ve been no FISA warrant if not for the Dossier which was not verified, and Comey even stated this.

So if some rep. guys start spying on the filthy liberal community it is o.k. with you.

Lets say they would arrest and charge everyone of you trash that says anything bad about Trump charging them with threatening the president.

Still o.k., right?

And there it is. EXACTLY as I predicted.

Liberals are about to convert from, "it's all a lie" to, "well of course they did it.......they SHOULD have done it!"
