I assume you are old enough to remember the Bush years when Democratic opposition and protest was labeled a war on the troops and un-American.....Right until Obama took office as commander in chief and then all of the sudden righties were putting bumper stickers on their car about watering Thomas Jefferson's liberty trees with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Waving around don't tread on me flags, burning Obama effigies, and holding tea parties. When Mitch and friends met shortly after 2008 and declared "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president."
