Democrats slam on the brakes - make U-turn on in person voting

Democrats' mail voting pivot (Axios link)
quote:
Democrats spent the early months of the coronavirus pandemic urging their base to vote absentee. But as threats of U.S. Postal Service delays, Team Trump litigation and higher ballot rejection rates become clearer, many are pivoting to promote more in-person voting as well.
Why it matters: Democrats are exponentially more likely to vote by mail than Republicans this year — and if enough mail-in ballots are lost, rejected on a technicality or undercounted, it could change the outcome of the presidential election or other key races.
Driving the news: In Colorado, former Gov. John Hickenlooper, who's running against Sen. Cory Gardner, told Axios that he's encouraging voters to physically take their mail-in ballots to a dropbox and to do so "early, really early."
Paulette Jordan, a Democratic candidate for Senate in Idaho, told Axios that she's encouraging voters to take their filled out mail ballots in person to the county courthouse.
Black PAC has moved from exclusively educating voters on voting by mail to informing about all available options: in-person, absentee, early voting and voting on Election Day.
The Collective PAC — the largest Black-led political action committee targeting Black voters and candidates — is pivoting, too. "We’re shifting away from making plans to vote by mail to voting early in person," Quentin James, the group's founder, told Axios.
The pivot is reflected by Barack and Michelle Obama, both of whom have been encouraging Democrats not just to vote by mail, but to vote early any way they can, including in person.

Some car company proud of their turning radius should get an endorsement from the DNC.
Are they pro- or anti-riot this week?

Dems clearly dont know wtf to do. Riot/No riot, vote by mail/vote in person, BLM/No BLM...etc etc
What a shite show they are.
What a shite show they are.

I guess they aren't worried about the on-the-fence voters who are voting for Biden due to Coronavirus seeing this and realizing that Biden and the Dems are a bunch of hypocrites.

Early, often, twice on Tuesday.

Open up your fricking states as well.
If you can early vote you better open everything up.

as well
So vote by mail and vote in person too?
Vote early, vote often!

This is an attempt to now get the people who voted by mail to show up and vote at the booth.

I say we take bets on the time (in days) that passes before Biden begins publicly speaking without coming to the podium in a mask, as well as his campaign relaxing "social distancing".
I'll say 7 days or less after the scheduled first debate- if it happens.

This has to be the play. Get people confused. Repubs need to come out and state that if you have cast a ballot by mail, you cannot go vote in person, that it is a crime to vote more than once.

You can tell how grounded the Democrats are by how often they have to change their positions.

It is by design, since they know they can't win a fair election because they have the worst fricking presidential candidate of all time.
Make everything chaos, tell your media lap dogs to make people believe it and... out of chaos...The dems will claim they won too, and then they have yet another attempt to subvert a duly elected president.
That is the play. RBG dying really fricked it up, but that is probably still the play. Better chance than actually trying to win the hearts and minds of the American people, obviously.

They traumatized their voters into being terrified to vote in person and now realize the challenges of getting their ordinary vote out via the mail in process because of all the steps.
The vote harvesting they plan on doing is simply to make up gaps and cheat at the point they need it - they can't wholesale replace 10, 15, 20% of their base (real) votes (if those numbers are accurate as to batches of mail-in being rejected) with vote harvesting operations without getting caught.
Quite the dilemma - a hell of their own making.

Due to the number of rejected votes .....
Proof positive that the act of dumbing down their voting base, they needed to come up with an excuse to get the voters to come to the polls ....because ...remember the Gore chaos? The biggest excuse was the "Butterfly Ballot. The problem? Designed by a Democrat to ease voting. These new groups are so inept they cannot read the instructions and get a mail in ballot done right. Too stupid to vote.
