Stop what? Wanting to fully understand something before sensationalizing it? This is exactly how the left has brought us here. So protesting legitimate concerns of voter fraud is a stupid reason to protest? There’s enough evidence for an audit in certain states and I believe that would have pleased most people. Lastly, I never said you said that but it is the subject of the thread and all.

Good luck with that.

So now millions of people will lose legal representation because someone dared suggest there was election fraud?

There fricking WAS election fraud. It's fact. There have actually been arrests. We can't have a debate about the extent of it?

Liberals are Nazi fricks.

b. protesting is stupid. i don't hold that opinion for any side. it accomplishes almost nothing and exposes you to extremists hijacking the event. kind of like what happened this summer and this past wednesday

An event (staged or otherwise) of some type was going to set all of this in motion anyway. Your fixation on the Capitol event not withstanding, a Nazi style purge seems to have been the goal of the Democrat’s for awhile. You seem to be upset that the “bald tire” blew sooner than you expected because the driver hit some glass.

I got news for you...it was going to blow anyway.

I mean I agree with what you said about protesting. I’m also not going to disparage others for exercising their rights though. I don’t care when BLM marches down the street holding their stupid signs, only when they loot murder and destroy. The thing is you (and since you’ve done this already I don’t mean YOU) absolutely cannot have it both ways. They know this. They know their hypocrites. So this begs the question what is their aim?

I’m so sick of sackless republicans who are putting up with this shite and not countering with the same bills for removal of Dems over the impeachment fiasco, their incitement of violence during the past summer, the cheering of crowds who were attacking Republican Senators and journalists, and the other garbage over the past four years.

You literally had Maxine Waters yelling to a crowd to confront republicans and berate them. Video. Plain as day. WRITE IT THE F UP REPUBLICANS. You are f’n having all rioting and looting placed on the shoulders of YOU instead of the Dems who were supporting it.

FIGHT THE F BACK OR RESIGN!

SFP, you were the last person I expected to see in this state. Damn.

You've known for years this was coming, now you seem surprised that it was accelerated.

First amendment has always been the real target, then move to the second, then total control.

We are seeing it play out now with Joe's "NRA" order coming out.

They learned they can't let another Trump happen, so these are the steps needed.

I’m not sure why someone would make this statement.

yeah something happening when I'm 37 v. 77 does make a bit of difference

you people have created a fatalistic self-fulfilling prophecy of a boogeyman. ironically, the leftists have the EXACT same boogeyman

you're both arguing that the "other" has so much power they will have the ability to purge your in group immediately. that cannot be true at the same time (and it isn't true in reality right now)

you want to know how one side WILL gain that power? irrational events that can create imagery that the majority of the non-political population will not tolerate. here is an example of that:

when you allow your side to create this sort of imagery, you're opening up the population to seize power in response

even the "summer riots" people reference on here did that.

Makes you wonder why Republicans (feckless, I know) didn't do the same thing during the Kavanaugh hearings when protesters took over a government building in protest. When will conservatives realize that the PENDULUM only swings ONE way when it comes to Dems. I will give the Dems one thing, when they GRAB power they use it to their benefit.

This is a bit of blame transference. Democrats are clearly overreacting. They are drunk on power. But that’s on them. That’s their choice. Nothing forced them to behave like jack booted thugs.

Contrast democrats response today to the Capital bombing by left wing extremists in 1983. The perps wee caught and put in jail—but no one tried to eliminate the entire democrat party as a result of it.

What the democrats are doing here is adding to the problem. Their attempt at vengeance is more destabilizing than the actual event on Wednesday. It is 100% optional on their part.

i'm not surprised it was accelerated. i'm mad that Q-anon, stop the steal, and other idiots in that group allowed for the acceleration

i barely posted on the election board b/c it was legitimately psychotic and adrift from reality
