Democrats Identifying as "Religious" drops 20 points in last two decades

I startes a thread a couple months ago citing a poll that shows half of Democrats do not believe in Heaven or Hell.
A new Gallup poll shows the percentage of Democrats identifying as "religious" dropping by 23 points since 1999. The percentage of Republicans identifying the same way has changed just one point, and independents have remained the same.
Now, to be somewhat fair to Democrats, many more identify as "spiritual," but the percentage identifying as "neither" has grown 14 points, while growing 8 points among independents, and 3 points among republicans.
I know we have many non-religious conservatives on this forum, and the term "religious" is not a great one to even start with, but I hope people can start to acknowledge that a lack of religious foundation is the root of almost everything we deal with today in the overall decline of our culture, which has directly led to the decline of our political system, and our nation as a whole.
I do not see any chance this trend of religious decline reverses, and the fight to prevent our descent into living a dystopian hellscape will only be a delaying action, at best...
Happy Sunday!

This is definitely not my father's Democrat Party. I would describe the Democrat Party now as the 'Party of Death', and given the power and opportunity they will kill us MAGA people.
Hell is the absence of God, and hell is what these demoniac democrats are about to give us.
His name is Seth Rich

People who think the murder of unborn children and the mutilation of minor children are positive things are religious. They worship Moloch.

God or not, the policies of the D party are simply atrocious. One can not believe but they simply replace one faith for another.

I have never understood what they supposedly offer to the average person. I get it if you are on welfare but not much else

Considering only half of Americans pay income tax, you have your answer

Consider the premise of "The Fourth Turning", B, and there you will find your "action". Same with the ultimate 'Religious/Spiritual Event', I.e., the hallowed prophetic and long anticipated 'Second Coming' of Jesus Christ, The Truth.
The old saying that 'there are no atheists in a fox hole remains a valid analogy; and my very religiously eccentric Uncle Earnest (a farmer and woodsman back in the Great Depression Era) noted that the wild "hogs don't look up until the acorns quit falling".
When this society collapse because of the abandonment of virtuous religious "foundation" upon which the Founders based our Constitutional Republic, and the personal discipline therein...well, the 'hogs' will only then begin to 'look up'. That is human nature, and the imbedded spiritual as well.
Energy, manifest in a complex 'Entity' is self aware; we are proof of that. The idea that Energy IS able to manifest as a self-aware 'Being' bears truthful witness that Infinite Energy would be an infinite form of Self Awareness; I.e., God. Intangible, incomprehensible, all powerful, all knowing and THE SOURCE for all that is or ever will be. And we are indeed 'It's Children'.
I know it is messy re giving Humanity 'Free Will', but I praise God for creating Humanity, for the sake of sharing Love. The "falling away" will come, albeit I happily, but respectfully re the inherent pain in the process, look to the day when Truth comes and "every knee will bow". That means that all will clearly see Truth and that "there will be no need that one should teach another, for the Truth shall be written in the hearts of all". The Vision will only come "in the clouds" of great tribulation, and it will be that tribulation that wipes out the Natural Vision and we are forced to implement and escape ("the Rapture?) to the Spiritual Vision. God speed us on that path. And Lord have mercy on all who worship Love.

Religion for their party has gone up

Dims who identify as religious has dropped 20%? I think that 20% drop helps to explain the shift towards the cultural Marxism ideology of the Dim/Groomer party today.

Well, they are exceptionally evil people.

That's because they aren't counting scientism and wokeism as religions.
No human lives in a belief vacuum.

The second use of God’s law is to restrain sin. When God and His law are rejected out right, sin will abound more and more. We see this at work in our own culture. As our Christian heritage has been rejected, the desire for sinful perversion has only increased.

That is true, TT. Even 'non-belief' is a belief.
Cahn's Book "The Return of the Gods" spoke of this "vacuum" and warned of the painful potential therein. Such being Demonic predatorial filling of said belief vacuum. I think' he's right. "The fool thinketh in his heart that there is no God".

Bingo. My Church I attend has nothing to do with my political beliefs.
Show me a Democrat who attends church, and I”ll wager it’s one that has omitted most of what goes against what the Democrats promote.
Episcopalians
Presbyterian
ELCA Lutherans
Unitarian
If you attend a church that promotes the Democratic Party principles, you are not attending a Church. You are simply attending a meeting of like minded Democrats that worship Satan.
If you omit any part of God’s teachings, because it offends you, you reject GOD. His Word clearly defines whom your allegiance lies with.
