The squad is the best thing to happen to the country. People not on the coasts are wondering what in the actual frick is going on with the Democrats.

Bet they aren't as giddy as I am. And they can never come to grips as to why it makes me smile.

I believe that most Dems back Pelosi but as immigration works it’s magic, more and more voters will support The Squad. AOC et al’s success depends on open borders. It’s just a matter of time.

They don’t have the support in Congress to become Speaker, majority leader, etc. They have a presence on Twitter but that does not translate to inter-party support and certainly not the support to become leaders.

What’s keeping the democrats from being more supportive?

The fact they are idiots, don’t know what they are doing, and way way too radical in their ideology.

Trump criticizes them and the rest of the Dems and Lefty MSM come running to their rescue, and these women hold a presser where they stroke each other’s egos and act like they are entitled and royalty.

That’s not going to stop. Trump can recreate this over and over with a simple tweet. And these dumb radical bitches can’t help themselves. They crave the attention and truly believe they have been anointed the faces of the future of a new Democrat party.

It’s going to be more and more difficult for other Democrats to downplay and dismiss the Radical Freshmen Crew while also making them important and credible due to defending them from Trump criticism.

It's not so much an issue of too far left. It's an issue of complete incompetence

Yes I am a Dem. I’ve been very active in party politics and campaigns for over 20 years. The other poster is right; moderate Dems have a rough time. We get painted with the same brush as Pelosi and other national figures. It’s frustrating.

Why are 90 percent of the posts on this board people asking ridiculous questions of liberals? The "gotcha" questions are getting old.

Good points. But those four idiots are not loved by Pelosi or the the Dems in the House. One can condemn racist remarks while not defending the people they were directed at.

You're a typical jackass Lefty loon if you actually think Trump’s comments were really “racist”.

Point out the racist context.

Otherwise, do some introspection and ask yourself why you folks constantly abuse the hell out of that word.
