This is from a Progressive Policy Institute study. So this is objective evidence from their own side that they fail at educating children. A clearer case couldn't be made for abolishing the department of education.

All serious schools should be private and/or religious.
Play School can exist for those students who don't intend to graduate and/or learn anything of value.
They can show up for free breakfast and have some type of social program (s) ,then have P.E. .
Then have free lunch followed by band practice .
Then dismissal.
