Ever notice that Dems always have a plan for making the poor more comfortable being poor, but never have a plan for making the poor not poor? It’s easy to promise free housing, food, phones, healthcare, community college and other goodies, but where is the plan that puts people in position to pay for these things themselves? They talk of income equality but their plan consists of tearing down the rich not raising up those in poverty. It’s a shell game of taking from one group to placate another.

pandering to the lowest common denominator. That's why they are losing bigly in areas of the country where hard working people are.

Better than the collective f-you from republicans, who would rather shovel endless free money to people who are already rich.

Can you give me an example of a republican policy that shovels free money to the rich?

Could it be because Democrats think anyone who makes more than $50k a year is ‘rich’?

Checked those minority unemployment numbers lately? No of course you haven’t, like poor people you’re brainwashed and controlled in a similar fashion.

Is it really better? Every time I hear a republican talk of raising people up or cleaning up welfare fraud, here comes the left screaming racism and talking about throwing granny off a cliff.

You mean allow them to keep more of their earnings instead of it being redistributed to sorry-arse slugs as a means of securing their vote?

This is nonsense.

What can you state as an example?

The purpose of those programs, is to find a way to skim money through the administration of the program.

There isn’t a solution. There was never intended to be a solution. We’ve spent billions and more in the war on poverty and it hasn’t fixed a damn thing. It’s made people dependent upon government. It’s created a permanent underclass that is easily manipulated by the threat of “the other side is going to take away what little you have and give it to the rich”. The other half of the equation is what they do have was taken from someone else.

All of the welfare programs for the poor, are really a way for rich democrat politicians to skim money for friends and family through administration costs.

The only way to solve this problem is to cut welfare and force both parents to be responsible. 50 years ago women realized they could get more welfare if their husbands didn't live in the home. The husband's wound stay with friends or family. Over time they bypassed this issue and stopped marrying. Far too many grandparents are raising grandchildren. A grandparent in their 80's can't keep up with children. Most of these homes lack rules and boundaries. Most of these grandparents dismiss behavior problems and excuse it because they've had a rough life. The real world is not so understanding when you take what you want. Intact families are stable and children are more likely to be productive citizens. Scrap welfare it offers no accountability or insensitive.
