this is your argument, how do you justify inmates being counted toward a district’s population for congressional districting purposes

I would assume this is for funding purposes. Supporting prisoners isn’t free.

But to the bigger point, allowing prisoners to vote is just freaking ridiculous.

State and local governments fund local jails and state prisons. The federal government funds federal prisons.

Good point, and I’m glad you’re in favor of counting people in a district but limiting their voting based on a strict and easy criteria. Say, age, or prison status.

So inmates can be counted without voting rights and can also vote once they leave prison.

Let me check...Nope. Looks like voting is still left up to the states. Thanks for playing, dummy.

When they have completed everything in their sentence ....

Several states have laws where prisoners can vote after the sentence is completed. Just because they are in jail does not mean their sentence has been completed.

So these worthless representatives are telling everyone ...Just because you follow the laws .....means nothing to us. Just because some criminal owes you thousands .....his rights to vote are all that matters to us .....

DOA.

In Alabama there are not enough prisoners to turn the vote .....

Not too surprising.

60-70% of Dim/Groomer voters are either living off government entitlements, members of a union, those oppressed by the White Patriarchy...... might as well add convicts and criminals as members of their inclusive voting blocks.

Personally I think it's BS that ex cons can't vote. If you served your time you should get that right back. Agree you can't vote while incarcerated.
I'm ok with violent criminals being prevented from owning guns, but some guy who did a few years for tax evasion should be able to own a gun when he's completed his sentence. Just my 2 cents

When in prison, they should not vote.

And?

How do you think states determine where to allocate funding?

Progressives want criminals voting simply because they realize these violent criminals will vote Democrat.

Aint that an indictment.

When your politics run congruent with the vast majority of college kids, welfare queens and convicted felons maybe it’s time to reevaluate your politics.
