Democrats do not care how morally horrible a candidate is, as long as he/she can get elected. Now they are getting bold enough to publicly acknowledge it.

Far-left podcaster Emma Vigeland raised eyebrows this month with her reaction to Maine oysterman Graham Platner’s political collapse.
Vigeland, a former Young Turks correspondent who now co-hosts The Majority Report With Sam Seder podcast, said on a separate Vox podcast that she doesn’t care if a progressive or socialist candidate has "Nazi" skeletons in their closet.
"I am wary of over-focusing on an individual's personal character over their platform. You know, I've said this before. I don't really care if say like Bernie Sanders or AOC go home and they're a secret Nazi, but they go out and they vote for the right things. Like we're talking about politicians…" the Democratic Socialists of America member said during the podcast, which published earlier in July.
"You don’t care?" Vox host Astead Herndon cut in as Vigeland trailed off.

Typical… she doesn’t care about the destruction a candidate causes in their personal life to those around them, as long as they give her what she wants. Leftism/socialism has absolutely nothing to do with the masses but more about selfishness. They hide behind the “greater good” to give them cover for their narcissism.

Stop pretending your side is moralistic and virtuous while the other side is immoral and corrupt.
Both sides have flawed humans. Unfortunately extreme tribalism and polarization his increased and some of these flawed humans are letting their overzealous dogma and idolatry overtake their rational thinking. Both sides.

Their goal is to take control and it matters not how they get there. Lie, cheat and steal are all fair game. We see it every day.

And the far left thinks they are trying to improve or save America. They also think the far right is destroying America, including Ken Paxton.
Unfortunately many on all sides are angry, resentful, and full of inflated egos and selfishness. Those are usually secondary emotions and behaviors based on subconscious fear. It seems like nobody wants to give an inch; never mind the fact that almost all presidential and midterm elections are close to 50-50.
Simply recognizing and understanding that about half of the country is somewhere along the other side of the spectrum that I’m on reminds me that there are a shite load of people with differing opinions than me. I don’t have to agree with everything or anything they believe. But it’s probably a good idea for me to at least listen, even if that means I agree to disagree.
Yeah, I understand that might be an idealistic utopia of a political and cultural society. And I’m not pretending or lying to myself that it is achievable. But considering where we are today, I think significant improvement is a definite possibility.
I do need to apologize to the OP for my “Stop pretending….” comment. It is not my place to demand or tell anyone else what to do or think. For that I apologize. However, I do not apologize for the rest of my comment.

Socialism has never worked. You can dress it up all pretty, but it always ends up the same; a miserable society with shortages on everything. Just because someone else wants to try it, does not mean we should allow them to do it. Most of these people have never had real jobs or business experience. They have no idea how to fix anything.
