We have it but we don't have the ability to convert the data into information in real time for any given person allowing for transactional machine like commands
Imagine a scenario where you post a YouTube video and IMMEDIATELY a video is posted playing recordings from your phone from 20 years ago playing every racial thing you said in private, every club you went to, every recording of you cheating on your wife and a 1000 dollar fine taken out of your account
Quantum computing speeds + improved AI would allow that to happen

Big Data is huge in the telecom community. We have algorithms that pump out KPI's for things we are interested in. The Carriers have them as well for their HSS databases.
While the timescale would not be correct in your 20 year comment, I get where you are coming from.
This would require every single bit of data from your existence has been silo'd. Which at this point is not true.
Now as we move toward half a century and a few decades deeper into IoT and Always Connected. That assumption becomes reality.

I’m a little behind, but so damn glad that Yang hit on the Chinese AI threat. It should get discussion from all 10 candidates every debate. That we get a max of a 20 second blurb from a single candidate shows just how short sighted these politicians are.
