Regional jets are usually Embraer or Bombardier …
It’s a 16-year-old Bombardier (mostly made in Canada!)

Apparently 70 mph winds but all 80 on board were evacuated. A miracle for sure. One person in critical condition but still a miracle.

Actually, that's a pretty decent inverted landing there. Hardly even took any tread off the tires!

Plane crash in Canada = Trump's fault for laying off Canadian air traffic controllers, probably.
Was just going to ask, does this fall under the "swawell air crash hypothesis"?

No idea. CTV News reported it. Very awkward final having to reduce to minimums and fighting gusting crosswinds. I'm just guessing that it landed hard, bounced a couple of times, caught a wing and went inverted.

Yeah guessing a ife was declared. Partial flap or full up landing. High winds. Wonder if windshear was a factor.
