If Romney had publicly announced that he was going to vote in Trump's favor, and then was harassed in the exact same manner except it was a couple of black democrats, do you think Delta would have banned them?

Nope. But I would have wanted them to.

I agree with your sentiment that Delta is not important, but this is completely irrelevant to the actions being taken.

Demanding loyalty to Dear Leader is a sure sign you are in a cult. Screaming about false conspiracy theories like a stolen election is another.

If you don’t like it then start your own airline

If only it were that simple. I'd like to explain the hypocrisy of liberals assaulting conservatives in restaurants and outside their homes, but I'd imagine you'd have a very difficult time understanding it.

I can understand wanting to keep "extremists" off of their planes but how do they know those hecklers are extremists? Are we no longer allowed to question and protest our politicians who work for us?

Come on, man. This shite is wrong. What they did was not illegal.

Delta has a policy on harassing other customers on their planes just as all airlines do, this is a nothing burger.

In all seriousness, I don't support harassing people like that in public.

A passing, "You're a douchebag" probably would have sufficed.

BUT, when people don't HAVE any representation in Congress, this is what you'll end up getting more of.

Welcome to the New United States of America’s; if you believe there are two genders, government power should be limited by the constitution, politicians answer to their constituents, and speech should be free you are an extremist.

"Why aren't you supporting the president?" is a question that makes you a cult member?

Yes, an airplane or an airport is an inappropriate venue for you to yell and scream at your elected officials.

Why is an airport inappropriate? It’s a public place.

I could understand an airplane more so than the airport, since there’s no way to get away from the protestor. Even so, I’d think if it got so bad that an air Marshall might step in.

Serious question -- if I wear an all lives matter shirt would delta ban anyone that harassed me?

Exactly. And I'm sick and tired of this double standard. I think the right wingers are ALL getting sick and tired of it. I'm a reasonable man, and I admit that the people who entered the Capitol were wrong for doing so. But it pisses me off that the BLM and antifa rioters get off scot free for what they did over the summer. And the leftists on here defend them yet condemn the capitol protestors.

Hell no. You, on the other hand, would be banned for inciting the harassment.

Because the world is suffering from people making their political beliefs the sum total of all that they are.....give it a goddamn break for a minute, drink a beer at the bar with someone that isnt like you maybe. But everyone needs a damn break from political crazy.

I called a guy to buy a used boat the other day, he started railing on the left and Pelosi. I dont know this guy.

That wouldn’t be very smart. 75 million people were not happy with these two and that will be quite a few looking for other flights on different airlines.

The responses in this thread are perfect. People don't know wtf to do with themselves right now

-Harassing Ted Cruz at a restaurant is uncivil and inappropriate and shouldn't be allowed

-Delta is violating 1st Amendment rights by not allowing customers to behave uncivilly

I hate to agree with Delta, but...

quote:

Video from the day before the vote shows Romney confronted by hecklers at the airport in Salt Lake City and subsequently heckled while aboard a flight to Washington, D.C. The Utah senator had previously indicated that he would not challenge the Electoral College vote.

"Why aren't you supporting President Trump?” one woman asked Romney while he was waiting at the gate. Video shared on Twitter shows Trump supporters screaming at Romney on the plane, with one yelling at him to resign.

Romney was a Delta customer who was being harassed in a Delta gate and aboard a Delta flight by other passengers. Delta doesn't want unruly passengers harassing other passengers who are just minding their own business, regardless of who they are.

Private company and can refuse service. If they do this with all or disruptive flyers then no biggie.

You know and I know they won’t. Had this been a BLM activist harassing a MAGA GOP Congressman, the BLM activist would get free flights for life and the MAGA guy would be banned.
