Because the pilots are still alive. We knew the names of the CRJ pilots in the DC crash not because of the investigation but because they were listed among the deceased.

Maybe it's up to the air carrier, but the names of the living pilots from the much discussed San Francisco crash were released within 24 hours of the crash:

Do we know what brought the plane to 'land' so rough? Haven't heard anything about the cause yet.

Again this comes down to the death of legacy media OR a cover up.

A story written by an actual journalist, would read: "CBS News reached out to Endeavor Air for information about the pilots. Endeavor refused to identify the pilots, because X."

I know it's an absurd hypothetical...as if CBS still employed actual journalists.

Surely someone on this thread knows whether the pilot flying the aircraft would have also been the pilot handling comms.

Tuscaloosa indicated a female was flying the plane. I did see Captain Steve on YouTube and he indicated upon a hard landing the right wing plowed into snow. So there will possibly be some blame to be given for snow drifts close to the runway. This is a wild asssed guess of mine but it is based on what Captain Steeeve said.

The plane that crashed in Toronto was a Delta flight operated by Endeavor Air, a small airline obsessed with all-female "unmanned" flights

Oooff that's got to be a civil rights lawsuit by our new DOJ. Seems like delta used this subsidiary as their "minor leagues" to test their dei policies. This isn't like the NBA subsidizing the wbna, but puts peoples lives in danger.

It wasn’t a Delta crew. This flight was operated by a small regional carrier, Endeavor Air, flying as Delta Connection. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta, but these pilots are not employed by Delta.

Dude this is like saying that an affiliated minor league ball player is not part of the MLB organization. Unless you have a ton of hours on bigger or more complicated airframes (ie military) you don’t start at Delta, American or United. You start in their minor leagues (AKA regionals)

Since they survived and could presumably resume employment, the company wouldn’t release the names even if they were 50 year old white men. Just the way it works, and that’s a good thing, IMO.

You think after all is said and done that they will still be employed as pilots…..JFC dude it looked like they were landing an F-18 Hornet on an aircraft carrier with the rate and angle of decent.

By the way, there was at least one male pilot. I've heard his talk with ATC as he was approaching (Blancolirio YT channel).

Thanks, Dillo for the heads up to Blancolirio. Far and away the best analysis of crash.

How much longer before the pilot's socials are scrubbed?

Seems like it took 3-4 days in the DC crash.

So today or tomorrow?

You did it to yourselves.

You yelled and screamed for equality but didnt do the work necessary to be equal in any field. Now people are dying because of you. Yes people are going to be mad.

ETA: The Captain, who was not flying, had a wealth of experience - including time instructing for Endeavor.

I don't understand why 'My aircraft' wasn't spoken by him while that aircraft was flown into the ground. Zero flair, resulted in 10's of millions lost in time, material & business.

Sounds like some DEI bullshite to me. Auburn appears to be their only major university partner. I wonder if they accept caucasian male applicants who are also members of Greek organizations into the program?

What these people don't realize with their DEI bullshite is that they automatically discredited any "female, queer, or BIPOC" person who is actually capable.

This ticks me off so much as an ethnic minority woman. Progs ruin everything they touch. These people need to be beaten into submission to the point they never try any of their horrible shite ever again.
