Death of Heather Heyer in Charlottesville

I believe we saw what police enforcement CAN do in Boston today. They maintained a powder keg crowd.
The same could have been done in Charlottesville except for some individual decided to command police to stand down. Like it or not the blood of this young lady lays with that individual. The entire utter chaos lays on the feet of this individual as well.
This view has been given a free pass. Own it Charlottesville.

Killer is responsible.
Police could have prevented it
Who decided to give the stand down order?

Yep

The Mayor. I believe this was premeditated, too.
My question remains open - why does The Mayor get a free pass on this? He should be sued by this young lady's parents.

Possibly, we will never know because the mayor ordered them to stand down.

It really does bother me that the Mayor ordered this but this never made it on the news. Should be a much bigger story. All the crazy groups were out, police should have stepped in. Who knows, Charlottesville tragedy might have never happened had the Mayor let the police do their jobs

Absolutes are fun to say when you cannot prove either way.

How can we know it her death wouldn't have happened hadbyhenpokice been engaged?
It could be possible they could have prevented that. I would like to think so.

I'm not sure that what happened in Charlottesville was entirely preventable. Charlottesville isn't a huge place. They don't have nearly the police force that a major city like Boston does and they aren't used to trouble like that.

Not at all. Just a realist.
I don't disagree others are needing to be exposed for her death. I would also like to believe the police could have stopped that death. It's probable but no it isn't for sure officers could prevent a man intent on killing or harming someone.

Death of Heather Heyer in Charlottesville
Did she not notice that she was on the same side as violent communists?
Applying the left logic from this board and the MSM, I can only assume she was one of them
As such. Her death, while tragic for those that may have cared about her, was her fault.
Hey. Don't get mad at me. I'm just going with the MSM and lefty standard.

No one.
Another right wing lie.

In the aftermath of the violent and deadly rally, there has been both praise and criticism of how police handled the events. What seems clear is that statements by unnamed individual officers have been exaggerated and subsequently spun into full-blown conspiracy mongering. We have been able to confirm, however, that the mayor of Charlottesville didn’t issue a “stand-down” order, nor did any city official, including Charlottesville police Chief Thomas, who was in command of the consortium of local and state agencies that made up law enforcement’s response.
