I’m several years into wearing Brooks exclusively and they are the best shoes I’ve ever worn.

I bought my son a pair of Brooks for his school shoes a few years ago and idiot kids were making fun of them because they thought they were Wal Mart shoes. They didn’t know Brooks are more expensive than what they were wearing.

I bought a pair of Brooks when it first went south a few months ago. Up until then it was mostly the no-named shoe brand. I really like the Brooks and haven’t looked back

They've always been available in the high-end running shoe stores around ATL for as long as I can remember.
FWIW - most places are saying this is an online exclusive, but I'm getting conflicting info from Dick's, as they say they have them in limited quantities in-store, locally. It's Dick's though, and they hate America, too.

Brooks Corporate HQ is based out of Seattle and they are a very laid back West Coast company, despite their origins in Pennsylvania.
I think some posters are assuming things about their corporate philosophy that likely aren't true.
