DC National Guard whistleblowers to say Trump ordered them to be deployed on January 6th.

A person familiar with the review by the House Administration Committee's Oversight Subcommittee said the whistleblowers will provide testimony that then-Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy delayed by at least two hours providing official notice to D.C. National Guard Commander William Walker to deploy troops to the Capitol.

Yes, but that would’ve been too practical and would’ve prevented Pelosi, Cheney and crew the opportunity to have been terrified by “the Insurrection!”

You can’t have it both ways.
The fact that Trump and others believed the Guard was needed shows that the “insurrection” or whatever you want to call what happened was serious enough to require the military to keep order.
Sure Pelosi and her allies spun this to hurt Trump. That’s how these people work. Win st all cost.

“Having it both ways” is exactly what the Dems have tried to do.
No one to my knowledge has ever disputed there were bad elements scattered throughout the crowd that day.
It’s obvious Trump was made aware and proactively tried to take steps to prevent anything from getting out of hand. If Trump “wanted” an insurrection that day he would’ve never made the order for the Guard in the first place.
So, why exactly was the order delayed/overruled? Who stood to ultimately benefit from NOT having the guard on hand? The very same people who then played up the events of the day and tried to make it appear as if Trump was directing people (many of them elderly) without any weapons to “overthrow the U.S. Government”.
Talking to me about “having it both ways” when that’s exactly what the Pelosi’s and Cheney’s were doing.

Trump was doing his job to protect the nation. He ordered the Guard to be ready in case.
