So, the shooter still hasn't been identified?

The fainting ladies on this thread fail to realize that this will help millions more black people than it will hurt.

I'm a proponent of capital punishment, as I believe Jesus wasn't condemning the punishment tactic itself. Therefore He wasn't condemning the punishment for the 2 thieves He was crucified with.
Crucifixion was extraordinarily rare in the Roman empire, and the Romans certainly did not crucify common thieves. For the most part, they were forced to repay their victims. LINK

The better translation of those verses of the Bible identify the two as “bandits.“ That term was Roman codespeak for armed political dissidents.

Agreed.

And (as to mere theft) those consequences should be jail or imprisonment, not death.

That's the part that chaps my arse. When people wanna talk about what's "barbaric" when pieces of shite play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

Personally, I am wondering how this suddenly became a racial discussion. Not one of the people in this thread who is concerned about shooting a person for theft has made any mention of race.

All the racial references seem to be from those who support the shooting.

FIFY

Put the fear of God in kids EARLY. The world is not a friendly place. You put yourself in perilous situations due to your OWN criminal behavior, you risk everything, from loss of reputation, to loss of freedom, to loss of life.

Must be nice watching the world from your safe space.., passing judgement with no threat from the real world and the consequences of your lofty, unrealistic ideals.

Us non-Trust Fund babies live in the real world.

You are AGAIN trying to mischaracterize what happened.

This was NOT an execution....

It was NOT murder (Rittenhouse)....

It was a BAD situation this little a-hole inserted himself into , period.

Stop trying to make this something it is not, or as us peasants call it, "lying".

Ok so to you theft isn't worthy of death, but when it's proven to be justified, then there's a scale to use. Got it.

Funny thing is that you don't know if this kid had led a life of a "common thief" or had been doing this for years and to what level.

Because this happened in the real world and race WILL be a component of that discussion, right or wrong.

There are millions of AggieHanks in the world who will try to twist this into something it is not, so we're just heading that distraction off at the pass.

He jumped a few grades. He was on his way to take his college entrance exam..and after that, he was going to church.

I feel bad for the kid's family. No one wants to lose their kid.

I blame society. Society has given the illusion that it's okay to do all kinds of illegal shite and people just have to watch and not do anything.

Perp is black, correct? DC has a lot of black people, and, regardless, violent crime "disproportionately affects" (to borrow some people's favorite turn of phrase) black people/minorities.

All mentions of race RE: this situation are germane.

Damn right I support the shooting.

Sad thing is that the main reason for this is because no one knows the race of the shooter yet, but can assume he's black due to it not being mentioned and it being DC. If he were white, then it would have been made a "racist" thing by the white cuck "defenders" of the black race and race baiters.

Worse thing is that all we "white supremacist" racists on this board are feet first defending the shooter, without the knowledge of his race, but with the assumption he is a black man. But yet are the "racists".

Maybe you should be more thorough in your research.

The OP had two links.

In those links were opinions similar to yours...

Here's a man trying to get the homeowner killed, you should be happy you have allies:

Twitter Man playing the race card....

Like you, he is a fan of misusing the word "murder" and "vigilante" to slander and to incite hatred.

The real world does not exist for them.

They sit around eating Avocado toast, sipping Chamomile Tea, formulating solutions to problems they don't begin to understand then act shocked at the blow back from people who actually have common sense and understand that REAL solutions to REAL problems are often very, very dirty and uncomfortable.
