I work in STEM (science/engineering) and 60% of my office is female.
The only sexism I see is that my boss doesn't like sending women to do field work.

well the response is simple: it was junk science and not valid

What sexism keeps women out of tech fields? Do tell.
Have also had clients ask if we can help them find what works to hire more women. We turned it down, tho. I dont' believe in enabling sexism.

Evolutionary psychology is just the most obvious example of science’s flaws.

What's funny is that in reading that column, it is somewhat apparent that she didn't even take the time to read Mr. Google's paper.
I mean frick. It's not THAT long!
And, she only responded to ONE point held in the paper which was not his primary point in the first place.
Given her level of education, what I just described can best be described as.........she's a liar.
I also note that while she mentions all the supposedly flawed science, she mentions no science that supports her view. She merely makes statements that are intended to be accepted as fact.

She's a leftist. Ideology IS fact.

The author of that article just couldn't help herself, could she?
How is this relevant to the issue at hand? I thought we were debating men and women having evolved different types of proclivities
She also apparently fails to see the irony in denouncing Damore's science as "less objective than we'd like to believe,".....and then goes on to cite her own science to try and prove her points about sex discrimination.
Ohhh, so YOUR science is objective. But if it's science that you don't like, it's a product of the patriarchy.

Last month, a study of women in astronomy and planetary science led by University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign professor Kathryn Clancy found that women of color especially suffer from hostile working environments. In June, I contributed to a Nature Astronomy feature on gender discrimination in astronomy. As someone on Twitter reminded me last week when I posted a new paper on particle physics, because the authors of the paper are women, based on the results of one featured study in that Nature Astronomy issue, we can expect 10 percent fewer citations.

She's supposedly a scientist, but this is what she's writing about. She sounds insufferable.

And the secular versions treat heretics just as bad as the religious. In today's world... worse.
