All the info we have on Project Northwoods, cointelpro, MKUltra, Gulf of Tonkin, CIA funded the Dalai Lama, Family Jewels, Operation Washtub, Iran-Contra, Operation Sea-Spray, etc. . .

-Nobody was ever put in jail
-Nobody was ever fired
-Nobody has really been held to account.

But they totally stopped doing shady, illicit stuff, and you are a batshit conspiracy theorist if you think they still do any of that shite.

It was a thing in 1975 when Congress investigated it. The CIA director came and brought them a dart gun meant to fire undetectable poisons. CIA director said they worked hard to ensure the poison was undetectable at autopsy AND that the dart went under the skin to make it tough to discover:

Here's the video when the CIA director provides the dart gun to the Congressional committee:

Legacy of Ashes by Tim Weiner basically proves the CIA was always inept and only needed the government for funding. If they ever found their own funding there would be no oversight. What if they found funding elsewhere? Say in the early 00s...

What, no recognition of the most recent Operation Hurricane which only attempted a velvet coup upon a sitting President. The C.I.A. couldn't have not been aware of what was being attempted.

Or Operation Gladio - right after WWII in which the C.I.A. became involved in an alliance of convenience with the MAFIA. Did any of that ensure the success of what happened to a future president in 1963.

TIL that Atticus Finch went on to be a US Senator after failing to get Tom Robinson acquitted.

That’s exactly right and a big reason why the southern border remains unsecure and always will be. Also don’t forget the Afghanistan poppy fields.

Prouty was an interesting person. I think he was right in blaming the cia for sabotaging the Gary powers u2 plane. All this to stop a peace summit between usa-ussr. This after Eisenhower personally ordered the stop of u2 flyover before the summit.
