Renting Airbnbs, hotels, or apartments is about to get a lot more difficult for conservatives. Data companies are starting to sell "extremists scores" to help companies avoid doing business to Trump supporters. What is your score?

Our government approves of businesses doing their dirty work.

Well....I intentionally avoided marriott for a 3 night stay this wknd because of their position regarding Republicans that didn't vote to certify
i seriously doubt though that they want to exclude 1/2 the country. Doesn't soundb like a good business model.

Black gun owners in GOP neighborhoods should start canceling people for racism when they're denied accommodations.

Their likely choices are “ban righties” or “die starving in the streets.”
Unless the right chooses “water the tree of Liberty.”

Sounds like they might as well give you an armband and march you off to the camps.
Fricking subhuman Nazi bastards.

Yet one more failure effect the dems will have on businesses

I could see the law of unintended consequences come into play here.
Trump supporters tend to be conservative, respectful of property, and they pay their bills.
Property owners might use the score to seek out these 'extremists'?

I seriously doubt that many companies will decline to transact business with individuals based upon political affiliation. GOP money and Dem money spend the same way.
But let's say that some businesses choose to do so. Isn't it their right to transact business (or to decline to do so) with whomever they choose? (Let's set aside public accommodation laws for the moment, because I oppose them rather vociferously.)
If a company purposefully and unilaterally alienates half of its potential customers, won't it just reap that which it has sown?
On the other hand, is this just the next logical progression from having Rightist pillows and Leftist pillows? Will we now have Rightist hotels and Leftist hotels? I suspect that the Rightist establishments will be somewhat nicer, if so.

Hank. Bless your heart.
Jones Day refused to represent the President of the United States. You think his money doesn't spend the same way.
THIS. IS. HORRIFYING.

Does it really matter when the government continues handing out "free" money via PPP loans?
