Alert that just came across my computer.

JBE will probably give it to him

quote:

“The only job in government that I would be interested in, other than this one (Commissioner of Administration), would be that presidency. But, at the end of the day I want to do what’s best for LSU and I want LSU to do what’s best for LSU,” Dardenne told The Advocate. Dardenne had kept a low profile about the job and previously dismissed the possibility when asked about his interest.

And here comes the payback for Dardenne stabbing the LAP GOP in the back and endorsing JBE in 2015

I was hoping it was the continued film welfare but apparently that is not enough.

LAGOP stabbed us in the back by pimping Vitter as their candidate, and it turns out we didn’t take kindly to that. I hope LAGOP will learn their lesson and not make mistakes like that again.

Jay would have made a great governor.

worst kept secret in town - the fix has been in.

So, who has already been picked for Commissioner? pretty easy to figure out...

Dardenne was already paid back once by JBE when he was given his current position as Commissioner after the election. His salary doubled, and he is going to have a sweeeeet retirement package. But, of course, that appointment had nothing to do with the election endorsement.

The only job in government I'd be interested in other than my current job in government is this other job in government but you know, other than making a career out of jobs in government I've got zero interest in pursuing a job in government.

Probably, but he’ll never be a governor. LAGOP made a big mistake by going all in on a family values candidate who does not believe in family values.

At the end of the day Dardenne is a man who cares about Louisiana and would be 1,000 times better than F. King.

I’m also interested in the LSU President job. I promise people nationwide will be shocked by my public “candor” on nearly a daily basis.

He’d be good at it. He is a Republican. Republicans are good at everything.

What came out of my backside an hour ago, would be 1,000 times better than F. King.

I don't hate Dardenne like others on this board. But I wonder if he has the experience and skill to run LSU. Running LSU would be like running a major business-like non-profit.

I don't want any more academics in charge, so he's got that going for him.

O'Keefe was good, and Emmert I guess was technically an academic but really no one saw him that way. But FKing and Martin were both pretty bad eggheads.
