In Colorado legal weed has caused a lot of problems. The legal stuff is much stronger, and people don’t handle it well. Lots of psychosis lots of entail illness more homeless…
What kind of problems has legal weed caused in Colorado?”
Reading comprehension has plummeted…..

Yes, you should definitely vote for the candidate who is 100 times better than the other candidate, instead of just 1,000 times better like you would prefer.
Right, the guy who is saying "frick your freedom of choice" to his constituents is the better candidate x 100.

When you get your legal weed, get back to me in 10 years when you wish you didn't have it. Just like everywhere else where that has happened.

quote:Okay, let's try that logic with some other issues.
Grown adults throwing a tantrum over weed is funny. Like grow up and do something productive.
People opposed to gun control just think AR's are cool. People opposed to soda taxes just can't stand being told what to drink. People opposed to mask mandates just don't like things on their faces. People opposed to book bans just can't stand being told what they're allowed to read. People opposed to government surveillance just have something to hide. People opposed to theocracies just want to sin.
See how stupid that gets?
It's almost as if these issues aren't about someone's personal attachment to a particular product or habit. They're about individual liberty, personal autonomy, and the limits of government authority.
You don't have to smoke weed to oppose the government criminalizing people smoking weed. You don't have to own a gun to oppose unnecessary restrictions on gun ownership. You don't have to drink soda to oppose government paternalism.
The issue isn't whether someone likes weed. It's whether you think the government has any business dictating what consenting adults can do with their own lives.

You sure? People are smoking it in the streets like in NYC or Los Angeles? Perhaps you've been to Portland lately? Because I promise you the normal people in those areas do not believe it is awesome in any way.

Not my fault that the Republicans trotted out a fricking awful candidate that no one wanted to vote for.

Best candidate available. Far better than what you got.

Cool. Its not a problem around here. Also, I think that the smell of weed in public is the very least of NYC, L.A., and Portland's problems

In other words, you have no clue what you're talking about.

No, in my mind it means "people who actually work for a living." You won't find anyone from any side of the ideological scale who likes what weed has done in those areas. I know and work with many of them.
They are just too ideologically lost to get far enough down the road to voting Republican. They will lose all their freedoms thinking that every stupid policy they supported that blew up in their face is just something they have to live with to be in a "free society."
