Male and female lions look different based on sex. It’s called sexual dimorphism.
Aslan is a male lion based on what the author intended, but also because he looks like a male lion based on BIOLOGICAL SEX.

The only implications of GG's choices are those of the Joker: Folie à Deux or Magnolia variety. And I expect the movie to be bad for these reasons (because she's no PTA to pull off a good movie despite the implications involved and is more of a Todd Philips talent)
