The only place I've found hospitalization numbers is at the COVID Tracking Project website. The data is spotty at best due to inconsistent reporting.
On my US tracker, scroll to the right and you will see the Hospitalization, ICU and Vent stats published by CTP

This is per LDH website from Monday report -- they only report this info Monday/Wednesday.
"COVID-19 cases have been reported by 154 nursing homes and 73 other adult residential facilities in Louisiana. A total of 2,546 COVID-19 cases have been reported among residents of nursing homes, and a total of 371 COVID-19 cases have been reported among residents of other adult residential facilities. A total of 541 COVID-19 deaths have been reported among residents of nursing homes, and 44 COVID-19 deaths have been reported among residents of other adult residential facilities. There are 279 licensed and certified nursing homes and 157 adult residential care providers in Louisiana."

So that puts about 33% of Louisiana's total deaths from nursing homes and adult facilities.

Hmmm. Worldmeter shows 1 death for La. while the Louisiana site shows a listing for "43 probable deaths".
We'll never get any real numbers *sigh*.

I'm about to say frick it to the whole thing. Why the hell do I care anymore -- I mean I can't change anything. I've quit reading/watching so much tv but I'm drinking more and have a crappy sleep schedule now as I don't "have" to be up to do anything. I ** DISLIKE ** working from home. Grateful that I have at least half of my hours but I'm too distracted. Loved going to my job.

I'm with you except I don't drink. It's all mostly slanted negative with no positive news. We will never get "true" numbers as we get these massive "dumps" of probable deaths. I keep waiting like a kid for Christmas on the positive day, or a plan with an end, but we get nothing but negativity. I'm just gonna keep praying because God will figure it out for us.

Have they ever clarified if they count people who died with COVID-19 but not because of COVID-19 as COVID-19 deaths?
Or is the rule that if someone dies and they happened to test positive, or even just had symptoms, then it gets counted.
That 7 day rolling average chart is looking promising.

What's the deal in MS? We're still not able to go and get our kids things from the dorm in Oxford. I should have gone when she went back after their spring break and moved everything, not just let her get essentials.

Are they not letting people on campus? We're going up to get my son's stuff at State on Sunday, but he lives in an off campus apartment. I guess they're not allowing people in on campus housing. We are slowly opening up here. All non-essential stores can go at 50% occupancy. No gyms, barbers, or salons yet. Restaurants are still doing take out only.

She was told they would make appointments -- as of now dorms are locked. Not sure who is on campus but financial aid has answered for sure when I called.
And the woman mayor in Oxford has passed a mandatory mask policy for everyone who isn't alone outside or at home from what I understand.
