Of course he wasn't told to skip a meeting. He was probably "asked" to skip the meeting as a show of solidarity against Trump.

Well, the bottom line is that Cummings and the CBC have had a PUBLIC welcome to Trump's efforts to clean up the Urban hell holes. If they don't want to help...they can decline the invitation. But they won't be running the show. Like Obama said..."they'll have to sit in the back of the bus".

For the side that likes to parse every word and play the semantics game, maybe once of you democrats could explain what you believe the word "probably" means. Trump didn't say definitively Schumer told him, he merely implied one of the democrats which may have included Schumer, suggested he not take the meeting due to politics. I fail to see how anyone with a functioning brain could argue that logic.
