I was not the first person to make a post ITT referencing the Dobbs ruling.

I only corrected an incorrect statement about it (and I even quoted the case).

Yes - all Dem metropolitan areas. Sadly.

Now I never expected to receive plaudits
I was just providing information I can still provide information
now you can choose to believe that or not or just take it into consideration make up your own mind

Im casting pearls before swine

He thinks people don't notice how he derails every thread and makes it about himself. Perfect example here - Cruz destroys democrat in a debate and all we are talking about is semantics of a court case. It's almost like it's on purpose....

First question- Abortion. You can't make this stuff up.

Well Reps made it the issue last cycle, could have avoided all of this.

Why don't you address your frustration at the first person who brought up the court case? It was not me

Newt Gingrich just said the same thing. Abortion is all they’ve got.

So you believe that posters can only post about races, polls, issues, elections, etc. if they live in that particular district?

I rarely comment on threads on this board relating to Louisiana or any other state.

Precisely because I don’t live there.

Fair enough I mean considering that a lot of times local issues the nuances only a local can understand them
so I respect your position

but I question it because the Senate passes federal laws
they make decisions about agreements with foreign governments
The house passes laws and budgets that affect the economy of the entire nation

I will say that I would hope that people's interest is reflected in their activity at the local level including the congressional races because that's where it can have the greater effect if you have an opinion at least stand up for it put up a sign in yard go door to door to in your neighborhood

I mean if you love this country spend one weekend fighting for it

But often where you live the congressional race might already be decided and since once they get to DC all the votes count for the same I think people have the right to an opinion

I just wish people got more education before they formed an opinion

not a formal education necesarily

I can’t imagine this is going to be much of a debate. It’ll be Vance/Touchdown Timmy style.

I don't always see eye eye with you, but this shite has gotten old. It's like there must be a punching bag on the PT. It used to be Rex, or ASURob1 or Toddy. It detracts from discussion and cheapens the board to no end.

Why would Congress pass one when it's a state issue, ie the people of said state?
