People opining that theory here on this board? Or is there some actual evidence from Cracker Barrel to indicate that that is the case? Bud Light was obvious...they put a gay man pretending to be a woman on a can of beer. What did Cracker Barrel do that is analogous to that?
If I'm just supposed to buy into their motive being wokeism based on people's opinions here and nothing else, if I bought into something just because someone here posted it as their opinion I would think the government can control the weather.

Wrong on the first part, right on the second. The logo was the straw that broke the camel’s back. We are employing the tactic of devil take the hindmost, except that it’s the foremost practitioners of woke. We can’t get them all, but we can create an environment of CEOs desperate to not be in the vanguard of woke. This will cause a constant shuffling back towards conservative positions.

I know I've locked horns with you lately (and probably will again regarding feminism if/when it comes up), but you seem reasonable overall.
Can you explain why Cracker Barrel's changes are necessarily woke?
The newspaper guy who posted about companies being obsessed with appealing to the 18-49 year old range seemed a lot more plausible to me.
If CB wanted to go woke they could have done a hell of a lot better job than what they have rolled out so far. Seems to me all they did was pull the old guy off the logo and remove the old people props in the restaurant.
That seems like trying to appeal to the 18-49 age range to me.

I've been asking that on these boards for days and have yet to get a coherent answer. There is nothing woke about it..just modernized and less charming which probably wasn’t the best move, but I gotta imagine most of their customer base is literally dying.

No, the entire thing was a PR stunt that was planned and orchestrated from a boardroom with these anticipated results. Anyone with half a brain would know the outcome of such a plan. They have generated all of this publicity that got them all of this attention in the news. We will know in a year or so if the stunt pays off.

They removed all the old southern items on walls and replaced with modern woke themes....not everywhere yet...and im sure the change will be put on hold....once the bottom. Line keeps getting hammered....this is comical too, but they changed the little game they put on the tables...it no longer get makes fun of you when you suck, it now encourages you to try again and says there are no losers....lmao...if that ain't woke bs I dont know whatbis....besides the fact they brought a board member in that is MAJOR DEI in 2020, and the CEO is woke af. You playing games on here like mo hoe
