I was a season ticket holder for the panthers, and used to also go to one or two road games a season. Never expected the nfl to miss that lil bit of money. Only thing that would cause the nfl to flinch is if most major corporations pulled their ads. But that's almost impossible because no matter what the NFL devolves into, it's still a huge, established platform that advertisers love.

I, for one, am shocked that the more types of mobile devices besides just a TV in your living room have the ability to stream sports broadcasts there are more people watching football now than there were in the early 2000s. Totally shocked.

I would rather watch Toledo vs Western Michigan than any NFL game.

The ole Toledo University Red Rockets. I always wondered what their quad was like.

I down voted you for being a tool.

On another note...I don’t watch the NFL.

What happened to all of you blowhards? Yall talk big shite but cave like the sheep you really are. You went on and on about the NFL and how this wouldn't stand! "Go woke go broke!" But you pussies caved because you're all talk and haven't the principles to stand for what you believe. You can role play your Q conspiracies and your revolution fantasies, but you can't tune out the NFL. What a joke.

Apparently you wanted an excuse to rant and call people pussies but you're too lazy to gather specifics. If someone here made those claims and talked about how great the game was, call them out. This is just another "this board" post, throwing shite against a big wall but not having to actually defend any of it with anything other than vague generalities.

ETA I haven't followed the NFL since I was in college, so no boycott was needed on my part.

I do my part, and that's all I can do. I've found other things to occupy my time, and I'm doing fine. I wish others would do the same, but that's on them. I can write like this forever, and some won't get the joke.

I didn't watch the whole game! I boycotted the part where the Giants started to get blown out!

Watched all 3 games and the Egg Bowl.

Get the family in the big room after lunch and enjoy each others company while casually watching football. Thats America.

I was just pointing to facts. All of the outrage and vows to never watch again were 98% empty. Don't take it personally if it doesn't apply to you.

no idea how anyone thinks this proves "boycotts dont work!"
So as long as you don't see the leftism being peddled, it's ok. To which organizations is the NFL donating the dollars of profit your viewership provides?

"They aren't kneeling anymore so we won! Back to slavishly watching and rationalizing it away!"

Already said, but again -- what a weird melt.

a) These NFL-WWE games are *always* on TV **as background noise** during Thanksgiving

b) WHAT "conspiracies" and "revolution"?? You mean an entire league that demanded ALL PLAYERS KNEEL ON THE FIELD (like some weird religious cult) -- along with corporate backing for it and BLM was just a "CT" or hallucination?? Lol...yeah, right.

c) MILLIONS have tuned out the NFL-WWE Cult. No matter *what* bullsh*t "ratings" the discredited SJW Network ESPN claims

d) The NFL was still dumped on its phony azz after Kneel-BLM Gate. It will NEVER recover its previous loyalty.

e) In order to retain viewership they have DESPERATELY turned toward gimmicks like Legalizing Gambling, Flag-Football Rules, Magnetic Footballs/Gloves/Goalposts, and ridiculous WWE-type "GAME-OF-THE-YEAR!!" Endings.

f) YOU are no "conservative," sir. Put down the Bong.

You need better comprehension. All of that was and in some form is still going on.

I was referring to all the "civil war" talk when most can't even avoid the NFL.

Oh I get the context...

Watching NFL games *is* largely avoided by the former majority.

You've mischaracterized and over-estimated the supposed TD audience and supposed adherence to the NFL-WWE-BLM Church.

I recognize TD has many who stuck with it and noted as much in my OP.

IF former protesters of the BLM-Kneeling NFL have indeed returned to watching the NFL *on a regular basis*, then I absolutely concur with you on their fecklessness and on the main gist of your point.
