Examples of stupidity:

Cajuns game, stands empty, band playing instruments through masks.

Referees do not have mouth whistles.

Players in game and on side lines without masks, but coaches and support personnel with them.

Saints playing indoors, without masks, but NO high schools not allowed to play outdoors.

Ohio high schools playing, NFL playing, but colleges not.

My sons South Louisiana HS...cross country meet, outdoors, with masks. Volleyball, inside, without masks.

Anything to add?

It’s the epitome of virtue signaling.

If a single one of those coaches believes wearing a mask on the sideline helps spreading the WuFlu they should be slapped for stupidity.

Having personnel and players wear masks on the sidelines when they are getting tested daily and known to be COVID free

Completely empty MLB stadiums, especially outdoor ones. If protests aren't considered superspreader events, outdoor baseball games with say 5k in attendance (roughly equivalent to the average Marlins game) shouldn't be a problem either.

Covid, Sports and Stupidity are all synonyms of one another.

A bit off topic but we have been watching Shark Week for years. This year they managed to have a show highlighting the effects of Covid on shark populations off the coast of New Zealand.

I mean WTF?

Notre Dame had 15,000 at their game Saturday and the Cubs and White Sox play in empty stadiums. It's just ridiculous.

The funniest part is when the refs take their masks off to discuss the play in a huddle. That is the ONLY TIME THEY ARE W/I 6 feet of another person and they could transmit spit particles through talking.

My son, in high school only goes to school Tuesday and Thursday but starting next week will practice Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and play Friday.

Same for support groups.

Why not just go 5 days a week?

Watched some of a high school game in Georgia on tv. During a time-out, student trainers had water to pass out and were wearing masks. None of the players or coaches were.
