Trump was saying a preacher and his father had something to do with turning him in,

Could you turn your kid in?

100%, would be the hardest thing in the world to do and I would feel like I had failed at everything that mattered.

I honestly feel for his father and applaud him for doing something so difficult. Lots of reflection going on in that household.

I don’t know! I would like to think I would do the right thing but I’m not sure that I would if I’m being honest.

Just because they're my kid doesn't absolve them.

Of course. My job is to teach them right vs wrong and being accountable for their actions and decisions. Why abandon that when they do the worst of the worst.

The only cause for pause would be the embarrassment that I had failed in instilling the right moral compass in my kid.

As a father of 6, I have had this exact conversation with my 3 oldest children. It comes from the point of actions have consequences, so, yes I would 100% turn in my child.

Yes. I’ve always taught my children actions have consequences, to stand on truth, and accountability is one of the most important values one can have.

If it were my kid who did this, I would be a massive hypocrite if I sheltered him. What I would do is secure him an attorney, pray for him, and still love him, but I would not be an accessory to his actions.

Absolutely. If you have any morals, how is that even a question?
