Not a black Republican. It's naive to think a black Republican will do much better than a white Republican, in that community.
This is one rare occasion where we are in complete agreement.

In the 1800’s, Democrats hunted down runaway slaves escaped off the plantation on horseback.
Now they do it with the media.
Their fangs are never sharper than when there is a woman or a black person on the Conservative side

Pretty close.

Notice how every conservative in this thread says they would vote for a black conservative or that they could win, and every fricking libtard says "no way".
Once again, libs prove how racists they are.

Sure . Why not ? Of course Dems would do everything in their power to slur , stain and destroy any Black Republican. Dems were pissed beyond belief the first time the Republicans fought to take blacks off the plantation. This would drive them batty as well.

Yes, of course. A republican is much more likely to concentrate on the issues and not race/gender. Identity politics are the left's thing. Most republicans don't give a shite.

Republicans are less racist than Democrats...
want you to believe.
Really you could ignore this last part, and refer only to what I typed above for the gist of my post. Yes, a black Republican could win.

Even with the Bush stank, I'd vote for Condi in a heartbeat.

Democrats love women and minorities unless they have a reason not to.

There are a few problems
He won't have the minority support that Clinton or Obama would get.
He still has to win a portion of the Rust Belt.
If he could get just 25% of the black vote he would win in a landslide.

I would vote for a black Republican in a heartbeat. I honestly think it would be great for the nation and/or state to have a black Donald Trump in office. It would completely shut up the idiot liberal racists and expose them for who they truly are.
Democrats are obsesses with attaching race to everything, but I've never voted based on race, I've always voted based on the candidates merit. Unfortunately, the Democrats have corrupted the minds of so many minorities that the only people who align with my conservative politics are white men and some white women. I wish that weren't the case, honestly, because we'd be a much better country if minorities weren't vote slaves of the Democrat party.

A lot of republicans won’t vote for a black candidate for president under any circumstances. It would have to be an unbelievably charismatic candidate.
This is a fricking lie and you know it.

Exactly. The racist Democrats would go after any black Republican worse than they go after Trump. He'd be cast as the most racist Uncle Tom the world has ever seen.

Easily, we just don’t have that person in the state. But if Tim Scott was from Louisiana he could get elected Senator and win Louisiana if he ran for Prez. Can a black candidate (R)!2”win South Carolina? Of course
I’m guessing this is a race issue in your opinion but it’s Republican >>> over Race in the south. I mean Jindal won governor and there was a lot of people that wouldn’t vote for him cuz he was brown.

Sadly, Obama ruined it for black men.

Clarence Thomas, Tim Scott, Herman Cain, and Ben Carson are regarded as Uncle Toms by a lot of black voters.
And that says everything you need to know about black voters and the dimocratix propaganda machine, that national leaders in law, business, and medicine can be viewed in such a negative light.

Story of Christina Santhouse
20 years ago, the night before the operation, the neurosurgeon told the young patient... 'You say your prayers tonight, I'll say mine'.
The surgery Christina Santhouse had the next day was to remove half her brain. The surgeon had pioneered much of what would be done. This was to arrest a condition known as Rasmussen's encephalitis. Today Christina lives a normal life.
The surgeon was Ben Carson. He credits God for his work BUT he wouldn't even use this story when he ran for President.
2 years ago I voted for him in the primary. Gentle Ben would have been eaten up in this current political climate if he were in the White House - probably becoming ineffectual, like one of his patients.
We got the President we needed.

Why not? These things tend to shift over generations.

I've been pondering this for awhile.
I don't see why. Colin Powell could very likely have been the first black President if he had wanted it, particularly in 2000. AND, he could have gotten the nomination of either party. Since for this to be true, that means his political ideology was, more or less, right down the middle on a lot of things - a unicorn in that he was fairly moderate.
The Obama Presidency revealed some things about him, but not enough for me to conclude that in 2000 he would not have won the WH from either side of the aisle.

A black dude that gets to the top of the Republican primaries with these credentials? 400+ electoral college votes.
