Goddamn it that is terrible!!!
But there is a gargantuan difference between post-pubescent boys and girls.
Sure, but my point remains. It doesn't have to be the end of the story.

This is something nobody talks about. It’s not a lock a person will be fricked up for life. TBH I think some of the assumption around this has arisen from … what else … lawsuits.

Paige Spiranac (a literal nobody) is one of the most frequently cited TD-LSUnews personalities on this site.
quote:positive toward one woman while denouncing and ridiculing large swaths of other women. The feedback is not “look at how pretty women are,” it is “liberals/white women are psychopaths and wish they were Sidney Sweeney because I want to have sex with Sidney Sweeney.” Also comical that you’re using a woman who is constantly objectified here as the mascot for respectful dialogue toward and about women.
Similarly post ANYTHING regarding Sydney Sweeney (with pics) and the response is overwhelmingly positive.
quote:Was she making a joke or giving a thoughtful response? Either way, men are capable of doing both or either.
HOWEVER, you would NEVER see a male lead giving that response .. EVER.

It seems like there needs to be a discreet or secret court or law enforcement unit to investigate rapes or sexual assaults. There's just too much at stake for everyone involved in these accusations

This is bizarre but I’m not surprised considering the source.
It’s more bizarre that someone would call genuine concern about one’s own child “bizarre.” But I guess your dopamine hit has to come from somewhere.

For those that won't click, this is the most pertinent part:
quote:
Jane Doe’s sworn statement in November of 2024 did not allege that she was drugged against her will or gang raped. On the contrary, Jane Doe’s statement described her participation in drug use and sexual conduct as voluntary, conscious, and consensual. My office obviously did not and could not have based our November 2024 decision on the allegations in a civil lawsuit that would not be filed until nearly two years later. Furthermore, I have never been contacted by Jane Doe’s attorneys. Not to inform me the original statement was inaccurate and not to ask me to reconsider our decision. Rather, I reached out to Jane Doe’s attorneys after the lawsuit was filed to understand the discrepancy between the original statement and the lawsuit’s allegations and the proper path forward in light of the lawsuit’s allegations.

Yep and it makes me sad when people allow the worst thing that ever been done to them dominate their life for the remainer of their days. I have had so many wonderful experiences and relationships that I likely would've missed if I just decided to allow it to define me. Don't get me wrong, it took a lot of work and God's healing but it is possible to recover and you don't have to feel shame forever.

Thanks. Honestly, the biggest problem I have at times is I get really irritated when people make excuses for their lives being sucky but they choose to allow the things that happened to them define their life forever. The world is hard but we don't have to just roll over and quit.

The discrepancy is obvious and journalists should make sure the public knows.
The discrepancy is:
Beyond a reasonable doubt vs preponderance of the evidence.
All that is required for a civil case is for the scales of justice to be balanced and the determining evidence to tip the scales must simply represent the weight of a feather. With that minimal effort, she will be rich.
Rather than clarify her statements to police in order to hold the individuals who may have had nonconsensual sex with her accountable, she chose to go after the money and attempt to hold accountable the university that provides the campus and learning opportunities, the bar that served her drinks, her own sorority, and the fraternity.
Will the boys blame their hormones like Lindsay Clancy?
