Cornell accuser told cops: ‘With 100% confidence I was raped

The transcript raises new questions about what authorities knew at the time about the case, with a separate six-page written statement Doe signed to Cornell University Police obtained by ABC News showing she said the night “felt like coercion,” but not clearly stating she believed she’d been raped.
It also appears to contradict Tompkins County District Attorney Matthew Van Houten, who on Monday justified his decision not to bring criminal charges at the time by claiming Doe never explicitly accused the seven men of any crimes.
So with this statement to Cornell police, why weren't any outside law enforcement agencies notified?

Yep.
If this is true the onus falls on campus police.

Anyway, here are her texts
quote:
Incredible reporting from the NYT.
The woman at Cornell did not consider herself a rape victim until she saw people making fun of her for being a slut.
She went to her "big sister" in her sorority and confessed that she had been a slut. Then while texting one of the men she reassured him that she enjoyed the first part of it and nothing illegal had happened.
Later, she texted him that she was traumatized. Not by the sex, but because everyone was laughing at her.
One week after her "rape," she was mad that she got disinvited from a party at the frathouse of her "rapists"!!!!!!!
Only a few days later, she decided that she was a "rape victim." Nobody would laugh at her anymore! She went from an object of ridicule and shame to a hero.
Once again, we need to have a serious conversation about how women are being lied to.
People do not respect sluts. Even at woke Ivy League universities. Human nature is what it is.
The lesson is women should protect their reputations by not doing things like this.

I read the texts on the phone and have no idea what any of this jargon means. It's not English.
"not a bit"
"not a bit"

I don’t know the ins and outs of the investigation. What I do suspect is she was a willing participant for a threesome with two dudes. She proceeded to get more blacked out and then the abuse started with them passing her around like a piece of meat. That was the assault and what I gathered when I took a quick look into this.

Tompkins County District Attorney Matthew Van Houten was notified and decided against prosecution.

Wrong. She had multiple consensual threesomes and encounters
The other guys were more intoxicated than her, by her own admission, in several of them.
She gave a detailed report to the police and the police said "ok well no crimes were committed". She told the police that every single time she told someone no or wanted stop, it stopped
She has many snapchat and text messages with some of the frat guys where she wanted to keep hanging out, wanted to come back again and do things, wanted to smoke with them etc
She also has texts with a sorority sister where it starts to come out that everyone knows what a whore she is and that's when she starts to concoct the notion that something happened against her will

Same thoughts here. It's never a good look when campus police investigate crimes like these. Let the sheriff's dept, municipal police, or another agency handle it.

Nah, she was into it and only regrett4d it when people made fun of her. Regret is not rape

Well you're both completely misinformed, so there's that.

These texts messages are proof to me that she was not raped. Seems open and shut. But these dudes are idiots especially in today's environment. Even if consensual it can ruin your life.

It seems you are misinformed. Cornell did a Title IX investigation themselves, and handed down punishment. Faculty and staff were the jury. There was NO criminal proceeding.
quote:
Cornell also conducted a thorough Title IX investigation, which is separate from a criminal proceeding, over the course of several months. During that investigation, temporary suspensions and other restrictive measures were used. After investigation, and pursuant to federal law, the matter was sent to a hearing where a panel of trained faculty and staff heard evidence over multiple days. The complainant and respondents had the opportunity to testify and present evidence. At its conclusion, the hearing panel issued a range of sanctions, which included expulsions and suspensions from Cornell. None of the individuals charged were offered the opportunity to write essays as a sole consequence of their involvement.
In addition, the involved fraternity chapter was closed in 2024 and remains barred from campus.

Her saying she was raped doesnt mean she was raped from a legal perspective. Not saying she was or wasn't but it appears the DA didnt think she was based on everything else she described.

None of this has any basis in fact.

I agree, but the DA relied on on the campus police investigation. That's not much of an independent investigation.

WTF does this mean? It's ether blacked out or not. There is no inbetween

With everything out there abojt this case you still claim she is the victim?
quote:
I don’t know the ins and outs of the investigation.
And you start with this before making your claims
You are a joke of a human being
Be better

lol you're still going to bat for this idiot girl even after knowing what she said, what she texted, what she told the cops and most importantly, what she SIGNED.
Must be nice living up in the clouds.
