Gaslight Media has convinced millions of clueless, gullible Americans that the police smashed down Breonna Taylor’s door and shot her dead while she lie peacefully sleeping. I couldn’t tell you how many people today still believe that BS
roughly the same percentage who believe that Walker shot at the police through a closed door.

The world is full of people who cannot be bothered by the facts.

Let’s assume that Breonna Taylor and boyfriend Walker were the lowest of low life scum. It is certainly clear that she was not as pure as the driven snow, and this latest release of information certainly raises additional questions.

I do not care.

If someone breaks into your home in the middle of the night with a damned battering ram while you are committing no criminal act, you have every right to defend yourself, your loved ones, and your property.

Once fired upon, yes, the police had a right to return fire in a reasonable manner.

But the city wrote a big check for two reasons. First, as indicated by the indictment, some of the return fire was not remotely “reasonable.” Further, the actions of law-enforcement in obtaining the warrant in the first place were exceedingly “UNreasonable.” Law enforcement created the situation.

Which, normally, they would have kept under wraps. This settlement however they shouted from the rooftops. Why? Because the needed to placate the masses from burning the city in protest. The resulting damage from which would have cost many multiples of the amount of the settlement.

If the MSM was honest this would be on the national news.

First, like I said Taylor made some poor personal decisions that caused her to lose her life just as tSterling did, the guy in Minneapolis and the guy in Ferguson. Can we agree in that?

Second, there’s no doubt the police in all of these cases should be scrutinized individually and as a Department so that the public is protected and at the same time justice is served and the cops act within the law.

The Taylor case was not swept under the rug. It went to a grand jury. I trust the system and they came back with limited indictments. I’d also assume since this is such a national case, local authorities are reviewing their procedures for serving warrants, etc.; however, I don’t know that.

Illegally obtained weapons, illegal drugs. Evidence on her phone that she possessed those things. Equal evidence here that she possessed the illegal weapons and drugs, not just her boyfriend. Highly suggestive that she was involved, which has been suggested by other evidence as well. She clearly was a knowing accomplice

Well, I suppose we could go after Nancy Reagan or the director of Reefer Madness, too.

But the cops LIED to get a warrant that they otherwise would NOT have gotten. Without that fraudulently-obtained warrant, they would not have broken down a door and drawn defensive fire. That sequence is enough for ME to ascribe a proximate cause in this case.

Feel free to disagree, because you don't like Taylor/Walker. It is certainly your right. Me? I don't think that my personal like or dislike toward you should have any bearing upon your legal rights.

I dont know them. We probably have nothing in common. Unless someone shows me the lie, I will go with the cops were shot at and returned fire. Without being shot at no one dies.

One can debate the need for no knock warrants, whether knocked or not, one can debate a lot. But no one can hold that cop responsible for her death. Until people start realizing that that is the cause, we will never fix anything that is presumed broken.

I love that people think this new information will totally change the minds of those on the left. There is no evidence that could be revealed that would ever change their opinions, because their opinions aren't based on evidence.

I don't care about proving Breonna Taylor was a criminal. I don't care about the details of her case. I don't think about her. I don't care about Breonna Taylor at all. And I certainly don't care about the people who think her case is important.
