I'm starting to understand why they don't allow UK clown cops to be armed with guns. That guy managed to take away their baton and whacked them with it then stole their e-bike. They are fortunate not to be armed with guns or that guy would've taken it, too.

That's a good point. Here in Houston, I would help a cop in distress in a heartbeat; these passerbys just seem bemused.
