This country is too big to govern properly today. The split should be 5-6 new geographically-oriented countries.

3. I wouldn't ever vote for it. No matter how you divided the country you'd have China or Russia or someone else living right next door to you within 10 years the way the left runs their foreign policy.
4. Even if that didn't happen, you'd be living next door to another Mexico. You think those people are motivated to get in? Wait until 10 or 20 years go by with people in Woke America or whatever they chose to call it experiencing the full, unfettered effects of woke leftism. You couldn't build a wall high enough to keep them out. And they would be just like the idiots who currently flee California and New York for Texas and Arizona and Florida and Georgia. You sorta just made the point as to why this entire discussion is always dumb and not thought out.
Even the most conservative states today have millions of liberals. Same with liberal states having millions of conservatives. Even if you "split up" the states, unless you forcibly relocate tens of millions of people and ban them from returning, this would solve nothing.

Liberals can never go for it because liberals, the left, and the majority of the people that vote for them are consumers, not producers.
The majority of people that actually produce things and make this country work are right leaning.
Without lopsided trade agreements, the large ultra-left metropolises would collapse.

I can understand where you are coming from, Roger.
But, if they are hellbent on a global takeover, would that peace simply be a short respite? Wouldn't they come after us again, later on?

They are no longer voting in our elections. Thats the main issue.
1) Arm to the teeth
2) Dare them to cross the line.
We would still be the best defense force in the world.

I used to agree with that but I don’t anymore.
Liberals are extinct. Progressives now run that show and the base is far more inclined towards Bernie Sanders than even HRC or the DNCe.

Not having them voting in our elections is extremely valid.
And giving us time to prepare for what would be the coming storm, is a good idea.
But I still stand that our ancestors fought and died for this country. That we should surrender not a single inch of it. Nor do I like the idea of a hostile nation right on our border.
Nor the idea of just allowing their plague to be allowed to grow.
I'd be willing to concede the notion of letting them do so, but not in any part of what is America right now.
