Iraq 2 27-28 days? I don’t think anyone that large has ever been conquered in totality in less than a month. Just think about how incredible that is. That is a large country.

All of these non win situations (Afghanistan/Vietnam) are either designed or not worth more enemy dead bodies because we don’t have the intention to “conquer” the region.

Let’s be honest starting with Vietnam. We had already been through this song and dance. We fought the Japanese 30 years prior. We already knew how we had to beat Asians. That blueprint was drawn.

Now, America after 2 did not want to flattened entire countries like we did to Japan because we know how many people we killed. We know. This is before we dropped both atomic bombs. Go look at most Japanese cities pre atomic bomb and they all have something in commons. Curtis LeMay flattened that country. We didn’t want to do it again.

Same with afghanstian. As soon as we saw they were not going to give in we just bail. We can win but is it worth it? Not to me. Not worth any of yalls son’s life’s for that.
