I have a lot of respect for almost all of the public defenders I have had dealings with
they have an almost impossible job, but they all most certainly have been liberal

Hawk, I think he could have been one of those liberals who was transformed. We all know the old cliche... a liberal becomes a conservative when he gets mugged.
I think this guy actually started out as a wide eyed liberal and became disenchanted with the experience of being a public defender.

So this guy dealt almost exclusively with major felons, yet decided that he was in a position to generalize about 10s of millions of people.

I would gander that (if this guy is real) he probably started off fairly liberal. I don't know very many conservative public defenders.

You haven't proved it. You merely assert it. Let's look at it another way, FT. Suppose the issue is not 'is the link racist'. Suppose the issue is 'is the link TRUE.'?
The only defense of this proposition so far is that it is a generalization. So what? Generalizations are abundant in science. Generally, rattle snakes are more dangerous than squirrels.
But you might get bitten by a squirrel tonight and get rabies.

I agree, but the way he presents it in many parts is like he is attaching those behaviors to all blacks. My take-away from this is that his life as a public defender has opened his eyes to the plight of the poor, black communities and his newfound knowledge has turned into resentment that sometimes spills over from only those he has directly dealt with to the entire black population in the US.
I'm far from the first person to cry "racism" but it's not hard to find (and even easier to infer) from this piece.

She converted in prison before she was executed. The MSM used this against George Bush who was Gov of Texas and could have pardoned her. Everyone knew Bush was going to run for Prez.
The MSM had the perfect trap: If Bush pardons her he is 'soft on crime'. If Bush doesn't it's 'war on women' and he's 'not a Christian.'
Bush fooled them. "I forgive her. I hope God forgives her. Let the execution go ahead."

Lols. Well Sentius mentioned a couple weeks ago that I was due for my PB hiatus. I think this'll do it. The PB really came into its own since all of the nonsense with the police started.
